Wikipedia Is Down 7 years ago

Totally down in Austin, Texas at the moment as well.

Checked twitter to see what was going on and was surprised to see this started in Europe, would be nice to have some acknowledgement from wikimedia..

“Normies” don’t use the word “normie”, and the label of harm applied by the SPLC isn’t prescriptivist, your beef is with the white nationalist Internet kids.

I’d love to read more on this humid forest climax narrative from any credible sources, it sounds interesting and I don’t know anything about this sort of thing really, but at the same time it’s tripping my “just-so” sensors something heavy!

But are Reporters Without Borders Press Freedom Index, the Economist Intelligence Unit Democracy Index, the European Journalism Centre’s Media Landscapes Report, the Committee to Protect Journalists, and UNESCO's framework also all US government funded with studies showing they’re biased towards countries that are aligned with US foreign policy?

Missing the forest for a tree a bit here.

I know it’s java, I know it’s big and bloated and gross but at some point give IntelliJ idea a chance if you like the ide experience of vs code & ts! It’s mindboggling coming from editors & terminals

Why would you bother to hold such an absurd little idea for so long without caring to look into the actual water usage in desert regions?

Is it a lack of concern for the idea, or the people?

Do TS and Kotlin support them now? Last I checked TS was relying on string comparisons and Kotlin wasn’t even bothering outside sealed classes

Is there a shared code story with native iOS and android apps written in objc/swift & java/kotlin?

Did you check out F#? I’ve never personally used it, but I know it takes advantage of the .NET ecosystem (and with .NET Core, is no longer tied solely to windows).

I am a One Person Agency And I am Burnt Out*

Only one of the complaints is technical related, the rapid pace of front end development to someone who’s “skipped Node, RoR and Python”.

As a “web dev” for the past two years, previously elsewhere, who has never worked in an agency, none of this applies. The front end pace absolutely would have two or three years ago, but things have generally stabilized.

This looks absolutely fantastic, what’s the catch?

Do you know of any other apps that use this App Store + native iOS and macOS client model by the way? I’ve never seen this done properly before (i.e. no electron, cross platform UI)
