I think CoqIDE is great and ProofGeneral (Emacs) is something all Coq experts use.
I have the opposite experience with Lean 4, the VSCode integration is horrid and documentation is awful.
The only good sources are papers for Lean4.
Granted I can go back to Lean3 but why would I?
I was wondering about that too. They are perhaps most important tools for both CS and pure mathematics.
It’s very interesting that Lean has exploded in the mathematics community. Kevin Buzzard talks about it a lot, but I haven’t seen a talk which explains why Lean succeeded in creating a gargantuan math library whereas Coq only recently got respectable math library in “MathComp” (I am also including Analysis library).
I would like to know apart from social reasons what technical choices lead to Lean dominating (ordinary/regular/pure) mathematics.
I hear “quotients” but no one actual explains with a concrete example.
This is something I am very interested in, There’s lot of work to be done when it comes to building verified and explainable learning systems (not just neural networks).

With great difficulty and often at the expense of sleep, leisure and other activities. I unfortunately don’t have a set process and doing exercises and making progress seems slow because it is slow!!
I love videos and articles these are the most efficient way to absorb essential concepts provided they are written/released either by experts or great teachers.
Books are good references and great resources for problems/exercises but working through an entire book can be a chore.
The only thing I can claim to be good at is that I am persistent and I come back again and again either to same material or similar material for deeper understanding.
Now part me still wishes I should have continued on in academia after my PhD, because there I had license to read.

Ruby is ridiculously useful. Python edges it out for scientific/engineering applications because of Scipy and now Machine Learning ecosystem.
Ruby is Smalltalk becoming successful. Ruby meta programming is very nice. Ruby is OO both internally and externally. Unlike Python which doesn’t feel very OO.
2. Verification is key! I don’t want more garbage (there’s already plenty) in app stores. They should charge a flat one time fee or for smaller developers give the option of higher fee/transaction till the amount is paid and then revert back to normal fees.
