Would this tool be useful for internships too? I work with students who are looking to interview for internship roles in PM

I was fostering a bunch of kittens but one of them caught a bad virus and had to be put down. The very next I had an interview lined up. The question asked was a standard puzzle/algorithm type question, 5 minutes into solving the question my mind went blank. I was still upset over what had happened and I told the person I can't do this and I cut the call.
I switched from a career in software development to creative producing in films and television. I make less pay and I am not the most skilled compared to others in the industry. I have some knowledge but I have lots to learn. Thanks to Covid none of the projects I have worked on have gone into production. But they will next year and I will have opportunities to learn then.
I am no master. But I enjoy the job and I am happier. I made the switch at 36.
Having worked in CK, I can vouch for the same view about the data science team. It was shocking how bad they were.
I took acting classes. They really throw in awkward situations.
That's why I love Vegas. Amazing food, amazing experience easily accessible to all.
Is there something that you enjoy or love doing? And is there a career to be made out of that even if it means taking. Pay cut? I quit programming because I didn’t enjoy it any more. I switched to a career in film /tv development and I am much happier. I make 1/4 the salary I used to make but I am not complaining.
What you say contradicts the article. Can you provide some link to your claim about the law?
“ If anything the Indian media absolutely loves to troll and embarass the government, “...” I would suggest the media in India is far freer of government influence than the mainstream media in the United States”
This above argument is a joke. A good majority of the mainstream media in India are paid for and/or afraid of the current government. There is plenty to be said about this but I want to stick with farm bill issue.
You say: “ current farmer protests, they are demanding that minimum price supports not be removed.” That is not the demand. The demand is to ensure that these new trading places outside of the mandis support the minimum price. The minimum price is a not a law but these mandis do follow them especially since the government also procures crops from the farmers. The farmers fear that with non-government buyers entering the market they would be less incentivized to buy them at minimum price. There are couple of links below that go into more of the nuances of the bill and what the farmers fear.

Please add me to be notified as well. Look forward to it!
Thanks for your reply.
But I do think the point of the article isn't about the science but that Gates Foundation has a huge role to play in what the government needs to do and that there is a clear conflict of interest when they add Microsoft to be a partner in the digital identity plan.
Isn’t the line following that say the same thing? That the lockdown will suppress the immunity system?
While there are some conspiracy theories that are hard to believe, this piece raises some important questions : https://off-guardian.org/2020/05/09/who-controls-the-british...
what did he predict and how has it been proven false?
Thanks!
I am avid movie buff. For training, I would highly recommend reading Story by Robert McKee and look up information on how to do script coverage. There are plenty of information on that. I am happy to answer in more detail through email. saby83 at gmail
I worked in the industry for over 10 years and I have a PhD in Computer Science. In my last job I felt miserable from Day 1. I had reached a point where coding brought me no joy. In all of my job, at the end of the day, I was serving ads to users. I was also an average developer and part of that is because I never found the motivation to keep improving. I was only so much interested in getting things done and never interested in going deep and figuring out how it’s getting done at lower level.
So I quit. I decided that movies is something that I have always loved and it’s what brought me most joy. I researched different career options and I came across creative development and producing. It resonated with me. Read movie scripts, give notes to improve it, work with writers, directors and identify the best strategy to get a movie made. One doesn’t need need money to become a producer. So I left the Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles and interned at two companies. The second company was a great fit for my interests (genre, etc) and I am now in full time Role and absolutely enjoying every minute of it.
I earn a quarter of what I used to make but I am much happier. But there are things about technology that I still like. And I am always curious about new developments. So I still enjoy reading Hacker News everyday.
I have hired an excellent junior engineer from one of those threads.
It will survive but what it needs is to re-think how they show ads and make them less intrusive. So this is a good thing.
A somewhat related experience I had with a company that advertised proudly that they don't do live coding tests. They had a take-home exercise which I did very well and I was scheduled for a phone interview later. I was expecting it to be more around system design, behavioral questions but to my surprise it was a live coding test.
After the interview was done I questioned the person why have another coding test. He said it was to test on different areas of programming. I later messaged the VP/CTO who wrote the blog post on not having live coding test. The person apologized for the experience and said that the team I interviewed for did not come under engineering org. It was a frustrating experience but at least the person responded positively.
Have you guys tried Mr and Mrs Misscellenaous ?
So where are you at in terms of job search and preparation?
It is easy to learn new languages but as the previous commenter mentioned it has it's quirks and when you add in the complexity of working with a group of developers with different beliefs and experience levels it adds up. After a point, you are just dealing with the quirks of the framework/language than the business problem.
I don't think I need temporary numbers to protect me from fraud. The fraud protection with my current credit card has been working fine so far. Another reason not use this card is that I don't want to miss out on reward points. I don't see how this business model is going to survive.
