Dude, chill out. Everything has a fatal dose, you can literally look up the LD50 and find that it’s a big number. Nobody is coming for your weed.

I wish the article had more details about logistics. Did she pack all the food with her? How/where did she sleep? What about inclement weather, did she row through it or take cover? It seems hard to outrun rough seas in a rowboat so I'm curious what the procedure was for that.

I mean, it’s pretty clear the people who work on Claude Code aren’t actually looking at what they’re implementing. The thought behind this feature seems like it goes nowhere beyond “oh wouldn’t it be nice if Claude could remember things about you? Ok Claude go implement this” and nobody bothered to see if it was useful or helpful.

Malware on Android causes more harm, both to individuals and collectively to all Android users, than Google locking people out of their accounts. These aren't even in the same order of magnitude. There are countless examples of people who have lost their life savings, all their data, etc. Losing access to your Google account sucks too, and I don't necessarily agree with what Google is doing here, but you're completely off base here.

Yeah I don't think this is too unusual, I'm not surprised that someone else has come up with it too. My point is that if you write it in Python you can get things like type hints, and use language features to make things nicer. Obviously there isn't much you can do to skip the part where you have to list fields and their types but using a string of C syntax seems kind of bad in any language that's not C work working with it directly.

I’m a little concerned by how little information is on the website and the fact that the Google Play listing has what are clearly screenshots from iOS.

You will note that this is not what is being judged as I described in my comment that you just replied to

He thinks Dye was never good enough to be at Apple and that he would think of leaving proves it

I have no real love for Alan Dye but you should probably understand that Gruber feels it is a personal affront that someone might work for a company that is not Apple.
