AI is definitely starting to play a bigger role in fundraising, not just on the investing side but also for founders. I’ve noticed it can help with everything from shaping the story to organizing the pitch materials, which has always been a time sink. It’ll be interesting to see if AI ends up changing how founders and investors “talk” to each other, not just how capital gets allocated.

Ask HN: Passion vs. Tools. Which drove your career? 11 months ago
I relate to this a lot. Storytelling has always been the passion that kept me motivated, but I only made progress once I learned to lean on tools to structure and discipline that passion. Without tools, ideas stayed fuzzy; without passion, tools felt empty. The mix of both has been the most sustainable path for me too.
Interesting to see how Form D filings track shifts in fundraising activity. From our experience, founders are also adapting their pitch deck narratives depending on whether capital is flowing or tight. It’s fascinating how much presentation strategy mirrors these macro trends.
