While I’m also curious, I’m fine with having a mostly inferior alternative too. This is a dynamic market with some big players already; having more options is beneficial. If only as a way to prevent others from doing a rug pull.
Interestingly, the linked Recall docs[1] mention a way to filter apps and/or websites from being saved; however:
This setting applies only to Enterprise and Education editions of Windows.
That limitation looks extremely impractical.
