This is still rather easy. You can change the UI (i.e. set the button into a "Loading..." state) directly after the click and when the server sends back the response act accordingly. An error would reset the button and prompt an error message.

What you must not forget is the fact that a bootcamp only costs you 8-12 weeks in full-time salary on top of the 10k, whereas a BSc costs you 3-4 years of full time salary. I don't think that all that many people would do highschool-bootcamp. Most people have a BSc and at least a semi technical background. For them a second BSc is not really an options because it would take them out of the loop for too long.

I have absolutely no idea what Brave actually is, even after watching the video. But nice to hear that Meteor can handle this. I would not want to see the Modulus bill... But still shows that performance in Meteor is very much following the 80/20 rule. Don't mess up the basics and Moore's Law will help you out.

The author probably means that it makes a lot of sense of offer people who don't want to go to uni a better perspective than working tough manual labour or minimum wage service industry jobs for the rest of their life. Not every degree currently taught at university is really necessary to perform well in the jobs that those graduates normally get. America would do well to re-evalute the necessity of degrees when vocational training can produce equally skilled workers at a much lower cost for the economy as a whole.

I know quite a few people who are too cheap to pay the < 1$ for most apps...

Why is SpaceX not using a shuttle design? From a layman's perspective, having something that basically works like an aeroplane would be much easier to get reusable, or am I missing something here?
