I have the exact same experience. Ultima7 made me a developer, and was my first dive into editing bash scripts (that fucker was impossible to get working in windows95). Enabling the debug mode and hacking on gumps was my favorite pass time.

Sharing an office with these guys has allowed us to try our their TF servers for the last weeks and it has been amazing. Trying to get 8 people (5 of which who are not technically savvy) to play together has always been a huge pain for TF2. With Minefold it was a click of a button!

The animations when switching a to a new word are very jarring and distracting. Perhaps a more continuous method (like a tape roll that's constantly moving) would help with the transitions?

That's a pretty good example, but why is description even a modal? It looks so content rich, seems like it deserves the full screen.

It's so scary to think that our entire startup almost died with this glitch. Our enterprise customers use our product in the mornings... this happened at 9-fucking-am right during our peak hours.

Obviously it's our fault for not having a redundant system / for trusting heroku. Though I still can't help but be a little pissed as I email 100 people about how sorry I am for their service disruption. Heroku didn't email me.

I'm really happy to see more tools coming out to take some of the effort out of setting up / deploying your development environment. It's refreshing to get more time to actually code rather than administrate systems.

Thanks as well! We're waiting for a customer to actually request an android tablet version. We're probably going to port our software in a "lite" version to android focusing on the phone first then the tablet. Thankfully android tablets work well with android phone apps (especially with ICS).

By the time we get around to this, we have our fingers crossed that google's acquisition of Motorola begets a sweet android tablet from google directly.

The only thing that still annoys me is that you can't rename the tabs (without doing some silly work-around). I have 10 tabs in Terminal.app with "bash" written in them.

It's a neat toy, but is pretty much useless for real work when compared to apple's built-in terminal. Seems to not correctly support PS1s, at least in the case of zsh. I'd be surprised by anyone that would actually pay $10 for this, seems like $1 would be a better price point for a toy app.
