As someone who has played a lot of chess I don't find this useful. I'm surprised how many people have positive responses to this.

Does anyone have more information about this webpage/resource? Legality etc? It's fabulous.

The author does not "complain these amendments cannot be passed because of political polarisation [sic]" - she points out that even prior to polarization most amendments couldnt be passed. There are many other important and nuanced points in the article as well, it's neither pro- nor anti- amendment.

The "slippery slope" is always a lazy argument w. little substance. It's easy to get induction wrong even in simple math problems let alone trying to pigeonhole humanity into tidy formula. The idea that the market will regulate itself because (... because what?) is also lazy. The bottom line is it really makes a great deal of sense to say,"hey, don't drink bleach," "hey, no Nazis on this platform please!", "hey, it's highly unlikely Hillary Clinton is a pedophile" - This is serious - this is real life and in good conscience we should all be supportive of this kind of "censorship" for the good of humanity.

To be sure... the main message here is don't be a jerk, treat people w/ respect, and try to be humble...EVEN if you're right and someone else is wrong! These aren't tough principles and they're not exclusive to academia - they are universal.

"Antivenom" is not a word. This article is mistakenly using this word to refer to antivenin.
