My truck has a supercharger and a performance chip. It is a "city dwelling" truck...And I haul thousands of pounds of shit in the city just like I would anywhere else (hence why I have a truck). There's no rule saying trucks have to be for towing bovine.

There's nothing more utilitarian than an extended-cab truck if you're a "divorced dad". You're hauling kids, furniture, trash, tools, etc. And if you need to move cross country guess what...You can tow a trailer. And I'd argue "ego lifting" is buying a 15k carbon fiber bike and riding in a traffic snarling peleton with your euro bike buddies...Everybody's guilty of some form of ego.

Twitter files show that there's a MASSIVE disinformation and censorship industry in the US government. It looks like they use shady NGO's to push government sponsored disinformation and to censor civilians:

That's only garbage if you believe democracy and liberty are garbage.

When a system overheats the CPU can speed up and the clocks drift and if you're producing volumes of events you will get corruption. Wouldn't ever use a system clock... You can write a hybrid logical clock in about forty lines of code that can scale as much as these wildly expensive appliances that these big tech companies shill.

People who want fiscally responsible government?

The Washington D.C metro is a multi-billion dollar money pit from hell that's mismanaged and filled with graft, death and delays. California built a 1 billion dollar bus station that nearly collapsed on itself. In the US, some of the most fiscally un-responsible transportation is public government run transportation.

Like strong arming US companies into putting party shills onto their boards? Disappearing CEO's for months at a time? I'm glad the US doesn't have to resort to CCP corporate facism and thugery. We're all doomed if they do.

LOL. Guy just wants to let his nuts hang after "a decade of coding"...I knew a molecular chemist ex Canadian Air Force pilot that taught himself Russian on a train ride and was a premier Canadian Pathologist out of mcgill that was more humble than this coder.

LOL. I forgot all about that ozone hole and the mass frog-death (from fungal disease) that they tried blaming on the o-hole. I think before that their was the acid-rain and the "advancing sahara desert". At one point DDT was going to give the entire planet instant cancer... Will be interesting to see what other alarmist nonsense they can come up with next.

Owner of starbucks grew up in the projects. I doubt you see that level of mobility in your cuban utopia. And I'm glad that cuba isn't putting gay people into labor camps and forced re-education anymore. Nice.

Comanche were the stereotype. The memory of the Comanche empire would have been fresh in the minds of Americans (and Mexicans) in the classical hollywood era. Comanche held territory from Kansas all the way to Mexico. They literally destroyed Northern Mexico. Europeans have no idea how intense life was for anybody that had to live in and around that tribe. And this was in the 1870's (not the 1400's).

Not pedestrians or runners though. Very common for cyclist's to blatantly mow through intersections and crosswalks like psychopaths. In Manhattan there's a famous local that uses a bullhorn to call them assholes. I've nearly gotten clipped by bikes multiple times. Americans also hardly ever use bell's or announce themselves. And then there's the silent killers on the E-Bikes...I think bikes and cyclist paths are good, it's just the US hasn't figured out how to integrate these things into society so you wind up with anti-social tour-de-france cyclists bogarting through children on tricycles and the general public. It's not a good situation.
