As cliché as it sounds... networking. My best careers have always come from being open to meeting people outside of a career-seeking context.

Last August, a startup moved in next door to my place in SF. I was friendly to the owners and we'd occasionally share a beer in my front yard. They mentioned they were hiring engineers and I always laughed it off.

One night they were working late in lawn chairs out front, and I idly asked them to finally show me the app. Turned out to be one of the most innovative web products I've seen in a long while. I've been with them now 8 months and couldn't be happier.

What the author doesn't take into account is the number of inches that it rains. Seattle rain is almost always light, only occasionally requiring a waterproof get-up. You can usually get by with a hat and thick coat.

Wish it were on Android! This is a great idea that I already use on my physical calendar (a la Seinfeld). I can only see screenshots, but it looks like the font you chose wasn't meant to show statistics, evident in the "Completion Rate" percentage. The relative heights of the numbers and % sign don't parse very well, just a nitpick on my part.

True. But the interesting part is how those above 21 will shop there for the disposable clothing. A 30 year old can get a dress, in their size, for around $25 (further supporting 99dresses' business model).
