Carpet shelling or carpet bombing with kilotons of TNT beg to differ.

So while you may see videos of drones taking out tanks, they are often tanks that have already been killed and drones come in on an immobile target, etc.
Those tanks are immobilized by other drones or mines.
You would also think that Ukraine is using more drones than Russia - based on the videos.
Yep, Ukraine uses more drones than RF in both absolute and relative terms, because Ukraine uses 10x less artillery shells.
If Ukraine will win war with Russia, it will mean that Ukraine will take their place as mightiest country in the world. EU will be a good buffer for us.
Global warming can be stopped by nuclear winter only.
Supersonic missiles are very vulnerable to a debris in the sky. Instead of catching of a missile, a drone can be blown up in advance on predicted trajectory of the supersonic missile.
Exactly. "Foo" is democratic when democratic or non-democratic country does it in a democratic way.
In Italy the current defence minister is personally earning considerable amount of money by sending weapons to Ukraine, because he's also an owner and manager of companies that make said weapons.
FUD is the reason why Russian liars are banned from EU.
When Tesla's will have built-in StarLink?
When single bug may cost millions of dollars, then Rust is cheaper and faster than Go. Google manager is not a liar.
It's possible to write unsafe and slow code in Rust.
Many games are written in Rust already, but they are not AAA games. Example: https://bfnightly.bracketproductions.com/chapter_0.html
Unsafe Rust is not harder or safer than C/C++. If you can uphold all safety invariants for C/C++ code (OMG!), then it will be easier to do same thing for unsafe Rust, because Rust has better ergonomic.
I.e. don't throw bad apples into bin, because they will rot deeper, but keep them closer to healthy apples with hope that healthy apples will heal bad ones.
Nice idea, I like it too.
You can use unsafe code and pointers if you really want, but code will be unsafe, like C or C++.
Meta.ai requires "login with FB" for me. :-/
Exercising in hot weather requires drinking electrolyte water to avoid hyponatremia. Drinking large amounts of soft or distilled water (around 6 liters) can lead to death.
How you will calculate hash of file, when it broken, to lookup for?
It's not a legend, it's just chemistry.
Rust-protobuf is much slower than quick-protobuf or prost.
Idiomatic quick-protobuf is much faster than non-idiomatic rust-protobuf: https://github.com/tafia/quick-protobuf/tree/master/perftest
We can safely assume that approximate time needed to produce papers is t_approx = O(n), where n is number of papers. O(t_approx) makes no sense.
It's same as for everything: something is going into lower energy state, while something else going into higher energy state via some energy transfer mechanism.
We are 100% sure for one side of energy transfer: both spacecraft and Sun are going to higher energy level first, then to lower energy level.
Other part of equation is unknown. It's called "Gravitational potential energy", but it's unknown what stores this energy. However, we have few hints: objects creates gravitation waves, gravitational waves are propagated at c (speed of light), there is Higgs field (nature unknown), which is presented everywhere and gives mass, Higgs boson connects objects to Higgs field, gravitational force is proportional to 1/d^2. So, we have a medium (Higgs field), to which objects are connected via Higgs bosons. We can assume that energy can be transferred to/from the medium via bosons, so medium can store the energy and release it. We can speculate that when bosons somewhat connects to medium, it may create a tension in the medium, like bubbles on water, via unknown physical process. As result of that tension, bosons which are closer are spending less energy to create same tension, which makes closer position energetically favorable, so any random motion (because of noise in the medium) in direction of another boson will release some energy, while any movement in opposite direction will require to apply some energy.
Even in this case, there is infinitely small chance that we are sitting so close to the beginning of everything.
Such drones are not practical in the war zone, because this introduces dependency on wires and electricity. In our air space it's no helpful. In enemy air space it's vulnerable to enemy action.
Power company can install a mesh or net over lines, to prevent sitting on them, or use another drone to inspect lines and direct a man with a shotgun.
Simple net will solve the problem.
A utility company can operate such drones without a meter, because they own lines and power.
Universe is infinite. It means, that we can zoom up infinitely AND we can zoom down infinitely, which means that space always filled with something, and this something have a temperature.
I have the opposite issue - if I want to work on a document or sheet, I open it in LibreOffice, because it is intuitive to use for me. I use office rarely, so I have no time to memorize how to use MS Office properly, while LibreOffice can be used out of box.
Red scotch tape over door handle is much easier to apply or replace.
