Whatever trickle of water left over as it passed through imperial valley ends up in the armpit of Baja California where there is a lot of agriculture (which probably ends up in the US). I wonder how is Baja California going to react to this much needed plan for the Colorado river’s supply

I live close a fry’s and it’s sad to see how empty the electronic component section (resistors, small dc motors, sensors, etc) becomes every visit.

Last time I visited there were empty areas in several aisles.

I know someday I’ll have to order all parts online unless I find a local option.

I had the opposite experience. Moved from Mexicali to San Diego. It’s expensive of course, etc, but in my case, I had three home robberies (one at gunpoint, I was 5). The best of living in the states was a sense of security. I know it can happen here too, but I don’t miss that.
