The authors seem to pick the absolute worst possible examples of LLM usage in software development, ignoring the fact that it is ultimately just a tool, and that all the blame for a shitty product continues to lie at the feet of the one wielding it like a giant doofus.

This change to xsnow is obviously an unalloyed negative, and the simplest test to confirm this to yourself is to imagine the political statement being something you disagree with, e.g. if the locale were set to an EU country, only the US flag would show.

“Capitalism” isn’t a real thing; it’s sort of like using the term “transubstantiation”. For someone outside of the religion, it doesn’t mean much.

What we really mean when we say “capitalism” is just people freely engaging in agreements together. In such a free society, people will hurt and trample on each other. The right move is to rely on the Republic to represent our interests and prevent that trampling from crossing red lines that we all decide on.

You don’t need to stop people from freely making agreements and transacting together; you just need to have a functioning system of laws. Whether or not we have one is an exercise left to the reader.

The modern female loves the “dad” archetype because it’s non-threatening across many domains. See: all modern entertainment media (which is produced by females and the feminine-minded). Expect it to increase in representation and popularity (which can already be observed by the sharp-witted).
