Mussolini had majority vote in Democratic elections. Fascism can not rise without Democracy.

Terrorism comes from word terror - it is use of violence to impose terrorist goals. Usually political. The fact that they have chosen as a target police is just return to classical terrorism that existed 100+ years ago. Targeting innocents by taking hostages, 911 or blowing up cooker are quite recent developments for terrorist activities. What was your definition for terrorism?
To oppose goverment, you need: * Mass support of folks that recognize you as government and not the "oppressive" government.
Simply stating that government is oppressive does not qualify. Do you actually recognize those people in this article? Are they opposing government on your behalf? Have you mandated them to oppose government... that you elected? Do you have judges that have different opinion on this case?
The whole discussion and article about this topic seems to be oblivious on these very basic legal issues.
The constitution is fine. The main issue is about definition of oppression that is shifted by Left. And can I point the dissonance here as you seem to not get it - you want to overthrow "oppression"... and AT THE SAME TIME complain that "opressive" government has unfair laws against you? If you do not succeed at overthrowing "oppression", expect to be punished like losers, as state has monopoly on violence and is free to punish harshly those that challenge that monopoly.
>>It is also possible to terraform Venus, although much more difficult than for Mars.
I would argue that it is very much opposite. Venus has already 80% mass of Earth. Mars on other hand have not much different gravity than that of Moon and Moon is much closer to Earth if you plan to make something suitable for older folks that look for lighter gravity.
No. Most of that is co2. There are a lot of comets that can deliver ice(of water), but if that is a solution then that works for Venus as well.
True... I had to look if wiki has some new information, but no - as expected it is frozen ice of co2 and not h2o. Getting that h from somewhere to make water is still going to be an issue on Mars.
But there is dualism in our minds - we have two spheres of brains and one of those is in master position over other and synchronize both parts. As a result the enslaved part of our brains is silent watcher. But sometimes brains get damaged and these mechanisms malfunction.
There is nothing wrong on blaming individuals. The blame is not on what they are doing but what they are not doing and that is not becoming organized.
PS I for one do not blame anyone. If you enjoy something - that is not going to last forever.
I really disliked Quake when it came out. Aestetically it was not pleasing and graphically even step back to DOOM2 imo. But there were players that had different views and played it... also probably they had shooter genre in higher priority while it was not on my top genre list - after racing, rpg and strategy games.
I can't seriously regard Skyrim as RPG - it is simulation of RPG - visually pleasing, but no challenging enough. Too much loot in Bethesda games is really killing RPG vibe for me.
Yes there are some rpg games coming out... and I have played some of them and I can understand why I would also declare that RPG genre has died, because many of them are resurrected corpses of older games and are not bringing fresh ideas of their own. It can leave impressions of those who have never experienced previous era of rpg games. But then again I have no experience of even older era of first rpgs and might have similar opinion about games I enjoyed.
I have library of Wizardry games and I think I snatched that remake as well - I've only played Wizardry 8 and realized that it was different and worth exploring.
You clearly have a different understanding for meaning of the words and what is meant by them.
Look, there is no depth in Fortnite, just like there is no deepness in minds of kids that are under 10 and playing it.
Same for other points. Fortnite is arcade shooter - no one is expecting from it realistic mechanics, which would also ruin the game. Fortnite is a niche and it was kids game - some of them have grown up and moved on.
I was so looking for this type of comment.
There is no survivor bias, you [insert insult]!
So many of those games were really bad even at their time. BUT YOU CAN STILL PLAY THEM. I've tossed many games out of my catalogue and for some I wished they vanish from existence and they all have survived!
While article is recycling narrative - it has a reason, but your recycled opinion is not only wrong but has no reason other than lowkey nitpick article.
CS was 3D shooter and not a DOS game - quite important distinction as it gave better(and nonpixelating) graphic. Pre 1.6 CS had many modifications already - frankly I stopped playing CS before 1.6 and had my fun.
The article is not radiating original narrative and some mistakes can be made, but it is missing very big issue that modern game developers are able to solve with live games. All the old games became popular because they were heavily pirated. Sometimes that was the only reason. Up till 2010s I only played pirated games - even when they were on steam. The only reason why some of those games are in my steam/gog account now is because I had played those games as pirated copies. Not all of them were good games, though, but at least I can launch them and try again.
Frankly, there is not much difference - gog is already part of the problem.
