Begs the question - why has apple never come out with a TV.
Love it.
Looks like they are re-inventing the creepy crawler oven I had as a kid.
This is a good exercise but how is this better than Combine?
Also - I've seen ultra over complicated codebases made with FRP in Swift. I have some PTSD from the kickstarter MVVM approach. What a nightmare in practice. You have to be all in - everything FRP or the tightly bound system crumbles.
I think SwiftUI's @Published property wrapper elegantly hid the FRP, but even Apple is moving away from FRP with the macro based Observable framework.

I wish the world was much butter. It would be more tasty.
Tbe slavemasters want control. Will the American public follow orders?
Your problem isn't CarPlay, it's Mazda's integration.
I had my bikes stolen this year from Portland, OR. They were in Mexico on a craigslist like site within a week. Crazy crime rings happening now.
Police don't do anything and FBI isn't going to get involved.
One thing I'd start doing is start reading.
First I'd look into Stoicism. That will put you on a good path if you start practicing it. I personally like 'the little book of stoicism'. It's little but gives a good history of what Stoicism is and how it came to be, and also a lot of actionable advice.
From there I have a ton of other recommendations you can just dm me when you want them.
One of my favorite tech articles of all time involved this guy. He was showing off the self driving capabilities of his framework and took a reporter out on a drive. Everything went well and while they were wrapping up the interview the reporter said "Well I bet you're just driving around all the time hands free, it must be amazing" and Hotz says "Oh well I just got it working this morning".
Classic. I love it. My kind of engineer.
Why is it much harder? I disagree. In office I usually only ever talk to people I directly work with. And, as an engineer, not very often. Every time I'd go in an office I'd just be sitting in front of a computer. If they had lunches then we'd all chat but it was all just bullshitting. I don't see how remote makes it harder to collaborate or 'culture share'. Culture sharing seems something woke people like to do a bit too much these days anyways. Rather stay home and keep my opinions to myself.
To me it sounds like you've successfully dedicated your life to making money, but money is not a pursuit that brings any happiness. It seems like you need to find a purpose in life that isn't making money, having a wife, raising kids, etc. Some true self identity. Try new things until you find something new you want to master and pursue it. Make some time for it.
Flying sucks. Flights are always packed and the seats are too close together for comfort. I wonder if a plane was packed with all first class seats how expensive the tickets would be.
We gotta break up the monopolies again. These companies are getting tooooo big.
I remember you could copy the games because they had no drm on them. My buddy had a complete collection. What a masterpiece.
We're not living in a democracy. We're living in an oligarchy. Of course those at the top won't get punished. That class never gets punished. Who else is gonna fund all those old decrepit bickerers in Washington?
The US labor situation is changing on a cultural level big time and rapidly. The working force is taking back the control. Companies are going to have a tougher time exploiting people for cheap labor with no/shitty benefits.
I love it. Unions are going to be a major driving force again and it's gonna be good for the work force. As a country we have to make it tougher for companies to exploit labor unfairly. The government has failed. The people know it and are finally taking action.
A true democracy would have strict regulations on companies which guarantee good living conditions for the people that live in it. The game of capitalism must be regulated, because it's a sociopathic construct. It's only goal is to make more money... as soon as possible. Left unregulated it exploits people.
Look up monoculture and what it's doing to the land. Destroying it.
Why are we subsidizing soy crops anyways? Soy is terrible for your health. It contains loads of phytoestrogen and allergens. We are reliant on exporting the crop because it's not a part of the typical american diet. It's just bad news altogether.
Old people that use the internet.
I'm currently reading this book - Waking Up - A guide to spirituality without religion. It tackles being present and in the moment. This might help - anecdotally it's helping me.
Average male height is 5'2" in Indonesia. The US is 5'9". How has your feedback loop of eating more helped grow and shrink your vertical height?
As far as I know it's fairly hard to synthesize, and isn't produced in large quantities yet.
Great we can finally drive the 6000 SUX.
They allow non medallion cars aka the black private car service cars but I think you needed a medallion to pick up a person hailing a cab off the side of the road... ie you didn't call the car service to come pick you up.
With uber they're still not picking people up that are physically hailing them. They are relying on technology aka smartphones to get around this.
get your popcorn ready.
I'm picturing a daredevil getting shot out of a cannon. Where is super dave when you need him? Could be the spokesperson.
I think you're confusing an ad agency with what I'll refer to as an ad service.
An ad agency works with companies to produce ads. It does the concepting and production of ads(etc.).
An 'ad service'(unsure of proper name) provides the medium of which to display the ads. These include tv stations, google, youtube(owned by google), facebook, amazon, all those annoying ones in free mobile games etc.
There's a huge difference to what wpp and google provides. Google earns 90% of it's revenue(source: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/020515/busin... - i googled it) from ads.
That said I agree that just because google provides a platform for ads doesn't mean it's "dna" is based in advertising. It's a core component of the company, though, and drives everything else the company does.
Adderall sure does help a ton. You might not have adhd, but instead add. I can empathize with you for sure.
