Most of that is simulating what maybe was initially at the base of success at the start of company of tight-knit friends who also were entertaining together. I think, that the problem here is very simple - getting rid of people who feel restless and do not appreciate the effort that is done for them and do not feel belonging to the team(!) and do not have their own suggestions, but have their own enjoyment by being disgruntled, because that is how they feel in general.

The problem here has nothing to do with participating in these awkward events, that probably does some job of bonding, but it has a problem with incompatible people that are brought together and have to withstand each other. I have experience of working on both sides - where there were group events and where there were none. And the hell that I remember is about where there were none, because at those jobs nobody also cared for improvements for people, who were there "just to do their job". In fact that thinking lead to some of the people in criminal situations with knive fights(at work!!!) and did other crayzeee stuff to just deal with boredom of "just doing a job that they are paid for". You simply have no experience and appreciation of not getting that wish to come true. I had learned that in a hard way and just - no... I'd rather have a work event(and it doesn't matter what I think about them), than "work incident".

Like I mentioned before, I am an introvert(for most of the time) and have been in similar situations... it sucks, but the truth in all of this is being paid worker should not be something to crave for someone who is more individual than others.

You can argue with someone, but that won't change things. You can fight the system or learn how to get to the top and interestingly most of business owners are not extroverts - quite the opposite - they are introverts. Dude/dudette, you are simply in wrong place and should pursue getting your own business - workers(extended family) is for extroverts. You are better than they and that's why you do not like rules imposed on you. Get out!

It all depends on what you think as an actual job. An actual job of any worker is NOT RUINING BUSINESS - it is not only illegal but also criminal. So, your actual job is following rules of a company and if they make you wear uniform, because that would make you not stand out, you will have to oblige - according to the rules of a company where you are member of that extended family. Your teenage angst is not only wrong, but will mean booting you out of a company.

Like I mentioned before, if you have problems with business that is employing you and THEIR set of rules, that YOU have to follow and that is part of YOUR ACTUAL JOB, then you better SEEK OTHER JOB or CREATE YOUR OWN. No one is forcing you to follow rules - any rules, even CONSTITUTION(where whole NATION is regarded as an EXTENDED FAMILY), but you have to be ready to face consequences of alternative and that is INSANITY - not illegal, because you have not agreed on those rules, but good luck on imposing YOUR RULES or lack of rules on others... and have probably a very short journey in this fight YOU vs WORLD.

The world sucks if you have to adapt, but it is not right to enforce something onto others for your own comfort unless you pay others compensation. That is the base of any business.

Well, think about it from that perspective where you are an business owner. Your business is part of your extended family and if someone does not feel great about being part of your extended family, they rightfully will be booted out and the sooner that happens the better for company.

As an introverted person I can only suggest for you to make your own business or go freelance, because you are not going to change rules for other people how they should behave only because your comfortable family scale is much smaller.

Any business is a family - the problem here is that it is not yours(or you don't perceive it as yours).

Maybe, but so far there is no World government and every nation should deal with their own corruption(or cease to exist) - Venezuelans, Russians and Afganis are RESPONSIBLE for their own problems and if the most of Afganis want Taliban rule(and have accepted them peacefully) or if the most of Russians want mafia state, then it is not up to others to correct them - maybe just bar them off and let them enjoy what they dream of. At least US has done one sensible thing, that they are leaving Afganistan - even if that does not look good - they did everything by the book what other empires did by not allowing to form nationalistic states based on ethnicity, like it happened in Europe 100 years ago(all in the name if current mantra of keeping all borders as they are). Maybe divided Afganistan would have chance to develop their own way, but now it is Pakistani expansion of taliban/paki(for those unaware, paki means pure) ideology.

Navalny is not speaking for all Russians, even if he is on the same path as Nelson Mandela. Besides, there is slight problem, that even Navalny does not comprehend as a naturally chauvinistic and also naturally imperialisticly minded Russian, who thinks about keeping as much as possible remnants of Russian empire - corruption free Russia can't exist in current borders - actually, a corruption free Russia is oxymoron, because Chechnya without corrupted Russia would not be part of Russia - they exist there, because Putin is giving them support and money. And if Chechnya is let to go, then borders of Russia will shrink very quickly to what was Muscovite state. That would be a catastrophe to Russians and that is why most of Russians intuitively does not agree to what Navalny is offering. Russians want Tzar - not eradication of corruption and possibly destruction of Russia and erasing of Russian identity.

Besides, CSV can be written by a human and initially it was the way how data was entered and read, because it is a text file - database. If there is a need for something more convenient, then there are other file types. Nonissue, IMO.

There were plenty of Russian soldier deaths and no one can care about those questions - the best that Russians can do in these situations is standing on their knees when facing their leadership and accept their mistakes as some deeper maneuver that will bring fruits in the future. Also, the answer to those questions of unhappy population has been given already - "It sunk".

The reason why Wagner exists is quite simple - primarily it vents out all the people who has not found their place in Russia(and prevents their use against those who are in power in Russia) and their main and primary reason to serve in Wagner is being killed in the name of Russia. They are not expected to get back - in Ukraine conflict Wagner people were bombed by Russian army, when they decided to go back. They are expendables from the day they signed up.

Well, look again - some of the group of points reach right to 200ppm.

Equation of line has nothing to do with reaching 200ppm, as that is average - adapted to whole timeline. Would look completely different in a different scope.

No. The main difference between grouping is that phytoplankton receives most of energy by environment(usually Sun) without consuming other plankton and zooplankton does exactly that - it consumes other plankton(both phytoplankton and zooplankton).

Phytoplankton does not belong to Plant kingdom and neither do Zooplankton to Animal kingdom. Some Zooplankton are animals, which is subbranch of Eukariota to which most zooplankton belongs. Some of phytoplankton, like cyanobacteria are not considered to belong to plant kingdom, also most of plankton are supergrouped together with plants where most of them are not plants, but also belong to Eukariota. TL;TR: Animals and Plants belong to Eukariota, to which belong all plankton - even if most of them does not belong neither to Plants nor Animals.

Gut bacteria affects brain, by migrating from guts to brain - IT DOES NOT AFFECT BRAIN, WHEN IT IS IN GUT!

FFS, just, read those articles properly. I've read it as well, but somehow I don't think, that my gut is as smart as my brain...

One is to simply allow it to happen or even try to make the panic worse. Paradoxically, that has been shown to ease the panic attack.

Nope. Not working for me. Though, I might have stronger fight-or-flight reaction than other people. For example, I can't watch beheadings(but I could do them by myself and I am very sure about that). If I force myself to continue watching, then my mind just shuts my brain off and I lose consciousness.

Similarly I can't watch needle, when nurse is injecting it into my vein. When I am not watching and have my attention fixed on something else - I feel perfectly fine, and even can make myself not to notice anything. So, MBSR and ACT is completely shite to me and I would be really pissed off if someone would have suggested that I should try them.

I think, that johnsmith4739, who mentioned techniques has a point, that this article is basically a crap and has no medical value whatsoever. I think, I start to realize, what op is meaning by ego-depletion technique, as this is exactly what makes me anxious, when everything becomes unreal and where I lose control - that is the thing that makes me most anxious. So, somehow NOTHING that you have written is making sense to me in dealing with my anxiety. Do you actually have some medical background, or have read too much and are here to prove your "expertise" based on what you have read? Which is wrong place to do.

EDIT: I had not received any help from doctors on my anxiety issues - most of the issues I was complaining about are now gone and I do not need help in dealing with my other anxiety issues - because "fixing" them(with medications?) will rob me of other things, that I enjoy and where anxiety is just part of how my brain works. I have noticed, that I get really anxious if I am not in control. If I am in control - I feel perfectly fine - in fact I feel more than perfectly fine in such circumstances, where I am in control of everything that affects me and understanding about this relation has come after trying to deal and failing with all the offered techniques. So, I've wasted my time on experiments and failed, so it is time for me to draw the line, cut losses and decide on what is working and I am irritated on touching anything again, that I've tried and that had no effect on me.

I started to get stressed out when my sister got cancer. I had headaches, back pain, panic attacks, developed agoraphobia and so on - all the spectrum of mental issues. I tried to approach all of them with weeding them out one by one(and did not look on all of that as a whole picture), so I tried medications, that were meant to cure my insomnia, then headaches(some of them made it even worse), got brain scanned etc. and could not understand the reason and why nothing worked. I just could not calm down, because thoughts that were occupying my mind in background could not just go pooh and vanish. More or less ALL of those symptoms(in most severe states) now are gone and I am now almost back to normal ~1 year later after my sister died. Because now I can afford not to think about her state - now I am able to achieve mindfulness about that situation, that now has gone, and I can occupy my mind with other thoughts, but it has become possible only because now it is too late to worry.

So, it is perfectly correct, that author of this article is talking about mindfulness in regards with imaginary threats and that is very useless for me, as that type of threats actually does not make me stressed out, but inability to save close relative from death I can't perceive as imaginary threat, but it is (pardon my french) sh!t advice to suggest mindfulness in extreme cases(that require most help on anxieties), for example - for someone who would be freaking out over someone close who has died in car accident. The first step would be getting away from that place and not sing kumbaya on that spot.

Knowing that humans have evolved as most violent primates(with everyday aggression amongst themselves), I don't think that meditation is that good, compared to inability to release frustration and anger - from my experience I got a break after I had to deal with situations that required violent solution, so I realized, that for me it had better therapeutical effect and more properly wired to my brains, than "coping" with stress and staying alive and healthy by inability to do anything and trying to meditate.

, instead insisting that they are suffering from undiagnosed physical ailments.

It took me time to realize, that my headaches and back pain at the same time were not physical symptoms, but from the times when I was (even extremely) worried and it was hard to come to that conclusion, that they were not part of physical problems, because pain was real. So, it is more about how person is experiencing these symptoms.

Recent mentions of mindfulness have made it obsolete as it is something that akkktually does not work and it should not be advised as something that works(for everyone).

Well, the reason here is that I tried mindfulness(because I was probably extremelly stressed out from what was going on around me at that time) and it was not working and here is why(from REAL expert): https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/do-the-right-thing/2...

Even though, some of the things mentioned in THIS article(by Emma Pattee) are written with right words, it should be mentioned, that Emma Pattee has not presented them as a medical expert on anxiety, but as a writer, so anything that is written in article should be taken as a (wishful) literature - not medical help.

It is best advice to not to worry about things - and the main thing here is that for everyone there is different path on how to achieve that... though, it is quite impossible task for really stressed out human, where even normal social reactions can be interpreted as hostile, that will add more cycles to stress and postpone getting out of worries.

That's a complete nonsense on how things work in reality. The biggest problem for Africa is that MARKET of anything that they are selling is in Europe and US. They can demand anything they want(which is simple racket and anyone despises these things in business), and it all will simply end with some startup in Cali who will start to grow cocoa beans in vertical farms or some other African country will become cocoa exporter Nr1 in the world.

ANY developing European country in history started with offering raw materials and very quickly invested into manufacturing and producing good quality products. There are no obstacles for Ghana to do the same. At the moment you can see some poor European countries with industry and skilled workforce and they all have poor results because of corruption. Something tells me, that it will be the same for Ghana.

My understanding is that owners of Tesla do not have to pay for electricity to charge cars. It might be similar to other companies, where their electricity used for charging is currently subsidized also by government.

That might change in future and sooner than we realize, especially when current trend is about self-sustainability. Switching all cars to run on electricity does not mean, that in future there will suddenly be more electricity(that will mainly be green), than we have now, so owners of current Teslas in future might be slapped with extra tax, because they are not self-charging. Future Teslas might have solar panels installed, but hardly that will be concern of Elon Musk, as his main income is not related to Tesla Inc, where he now owns only 18% shares and he earns more from space by ripping off NASA.

After taking a quick glance on the book of К. А. Войлова "Старославянский язык" nothing really contradicts what I posted before about Old Church Slavonic place in creation of Russian. Also, if you are presenting your source it is up to you to quote where Russian is not descendant from Old Church Slavonic, to disprove me - I have no obligation whatsoever to comb whole book and make something up that proves your point. I had a different - more recent source that I read from Russian linguist(my memory is bad on names), where he discussed Old Church Slavonic and how it replaced most of local languages as a base to Russian and other modern East Slavic languages.

Also I think you are confused about these terms in English, where Old Church Slavonic == Старославянский язык Church Slavonic == Церковнославя́нский язы́к

The Novgorod birchbark letters that were excavated over the 20th century attest some early East Slavic, noticeably different from the Old Church Slavonic language

That is correct, however what I wrote was completelly different: "All the survived early written texts of Rus are in Old Church Slavonic."

Besides, they were neither early East Slavonic or even classified as modern East Slavic and they are not directly related to Russian as well. Many of those Slavic can be classified as early Western Slavic at best.

No, беременна is a native Slavic word and not a Swedish borrowing It seems, that I was wrong in this one(as pregnancy in most of Slavic languages use different word, but I did not search further, where Bulgarians use similar word for pregnancy). Sadly, that also means that Old Church Slavonic replaced everything else.

1. Russians do not have common ancestry in Proto-Slavic, because ancestors of Rus people in majority did not even speak Slavic languages, but Baltic, and Finnic languages - Rus themselves initially spoke Scandinavian. Poland and NW area of Ukraine is place where Proto-Slavioc originated. Do your math.

Бере-менна can not even be explained by Slavic language, or Proto... Baltic, but it can be explained by Swedish language, where bear-men was clear purpose of Rus women.

2. All the survived early written texts of Rus are in Old Church Slavonic - very similar to Russian(and possibly others that were known as Ruthenian, but I have no knowledge of Ukrainian, Belorussian or Rusyn to judge that).

3. You and me are not going to decide the classification of languages, that are based purely on geographic distribution or in case of Rus languages(or as they are known to others - East Slavic) - common history being part of one nation and not based on similar ancestry.

These languages have similar grammar, because they all have evolved from Old Church Slavonic, but Russian had different path of evolution, where it has gained a lot of Turkic vocabulary among others.

I know Russian on native level and have visited friends in Lviv. Sure it is possible for me with Russian language to understand some things and with what I know it would be very easy to LEARN Ukrainian, but I don't live among Ukrainians, so I can't understand 90% of anything when I am watching something on yt when Urainians start to talk in moiva. I think, that there is a bigger chance for Polish people to understand Ukrainians, that for speakers of Russian.

It looks like your observation applies to Russians, who are already living in Ukraine and have some grasp of Ukrainian.

I remember reading some sci-fi story where gentleman had scrotum transplant and I had questions about that.

As it appears, now I know, that transplanted scrotum will produce semen with dna of previous owner - not recipient. Also, there are cases, where transplanted bone marrows are rewriting dna of receiver. So, brain is swappable in the end as well... sure.

Btw, your understanding of transplants is way too trivial - recipient body not always accept donor organs and people die because of it. Prosthetics are not transplants and they too can be rejected by body - and people who have them still "enjoy" side effects of not having proper arm or leg... the videos of happy sprinters with "better legs" do not convince me after I had been living with such people together, where higher body temperature is just one of those side effects of lost limb, not to mention dramatic impact on mind, where those battles about loss of limbs has to be battled every day.

The page also lists that they are coordinating projects and bring together specialists, so umm... it sounds a lot like Mars One.
