The internet is increasingly a low-trust society 7 years ago
Maybe I missed something, but when was the internet ever high-trust?
I feel like since it's inception savvy users always applied a healthy amount of skepticism and made thier own choice whether or not they believed something "on the internet". This included both facts on websites and conversing with other humans on chat.
