I've been sending text html emails for my blogletter for over a year now. The single biggest struggle point is the spam filters in gmail/outlook/others which just render my emails waste for majority of the subscribers.

Do you face the same?

Hi, I am a backend developer with 2 years of experience. I've written APIs, serverless functions and webjobs from scratch - keeping test coverage above 80%. For an Azure based cloud native webapp. That's mostly in C#.

I'm open to learning new technologies and also explore some for my personal projects - Ruby/Jekyll for by blog(https://knowledgeday.in), Python for a trading simulator, Embedded C for some board projects...

For non-tech, mine is ad-free -> https://knowledgeday.in

As for reading, a lot of these blog links found on top HN threads have negligible ads. Plus I have a habit of turning on reading mode.

Or I just send blog links to Pocket and then read them later. The reading mode/pocket app cleanup the ads while also making the content more readable with font/bg of your choice.

Not just users, this is a good nightmare for a lot of projects that were relying on yt-dl (maybe for other features than downloading)

And even a lot of unofficial libraries that allowed easier yt access. Dead in a go.

Do we have a cli alternative that does everything of yt-dl except the video download part?

About: Hi, I am a software engineer developing and improving backend for a cloud native webapp for almost 2 years. Quick to learn and adopt to new technologies and equally dependable for robustness in code and extensive Unit and smoke testing.

I also write as hobby(non-tech), and am running self handled blog-cum-newsletter (Self built email platform (C#) + Jekyll based static website for blog). Here: https://ohyash.github.io/KnowledgeDay/

I have no issues working remotely, but personally believe it's better to be together when it's safe.

Completed my CS graduation last year, I have been working as a junior developer at MAQ Software for a Big 5 IT client(FAMGA), so I have some experience working on cloud native backed for a large scale web app with the technologies mentioned above. I'm open to smaller or medium sized work places with good unity and healthy work culture.

I started a freestyle newsletter for sharing knowledge I get from the internet.

Quickly I reaized the existing solutions are limited. So I started developing my own Email Platform, which is in early stage currently and can only send dynamic mails for now but I plan to grow it into a single blogging cum newsletter platform going forward. The project isn't online yet but my newsletter is: https://linktr.ee/Knowledgeday

Hi, I am a recent computer science graduate (Bachelors, June 2019) with 6 months experience(internship+job) working on the backend and automated webjobs(all C#). During the degree course I have mostly worked with python for projects and c++ for Data Structures and Algorithms practices. I am enthusiastic for IOT as a field and I have worked with 8 bit microcontrollers as well. I have negligible experience with frontend, but have tried out desktop UI development in the past using Elementary toolkit(Enlightenment EFL), and Python's tkinter. I am comfortable working in the unix environment as GNU/linux has been my preferred workstation OS for past 6 years.
