Even better than making sense of it, but just give the AI all of the parameters that you want to build or remodel a house and have it give you a 90% complete model that an architect/designer can finish off, reducing overall cost and time.

I disagree. I have been waiting 3 months for parts, in the mean time my sensors collision don’t work and I have constant annoying dash messages saying my sensors don’t work.
Hate to break it to you but you will be waiting months to get it fixed. I’ve been waiting on parts for about 3 months to get mine fixed for relatively minor damage. got rear ended by a pickup truck.

Honestly you just need to do it. Even without equipment you can run, do push ups, crunches, air squats. No excuses for doing nothing in my opinion.
In my opinion, if you can put in the time, I would just suck it up and go get the degree. You are still relatively young, so if you can get a degree at 35-40ish, that's still 25+ working years. Anything beyond Bachelor's is probably not worth pursing, but having the B.S. could definitely help you. I put myself through school by delivering pizza, then I got a M.S. part time while working. Yes, it was a slog, but it was absolutely worth it.
Edit: To add to this, I think working in tech industry now is very fast moving. I also put in a lot of effort to refresh & stay current. If you end up with the attitude of "it's too late to study", then you'll get left behind very quickly. Young people have a lot of free time and they catch up very very quickly.
Yes I agree with this. In fact, having already done this math myself I am basically maxed out in house loans, i even took a cash out loan on my rental and dumped it into the stock market… I have already made an absolute killing doing this. Unfortunately I am not that smart and like you say, everybody else can come to this same conclusion. It will not end well.
I would start with bogleheads. I also always recommend people start with bogleheads and learning about 3 fund investing.
However I feel they are slightly too conservative especially if you are young. If you are following their bond advise right now you are getting crushed for no good reason, and Warren Buffet would be the first to point this out.
But still, having the majority of money in a total market fund is sort of a “no brainer”, and reading this will explain why.

Agree. I went from an early 2011 15" MBP fully decked out with SSD, 16G mem, matte screen (which I loved.. but spilled beer on) to the 13" mbp touch and love everything about it.
I think the complaint here (if I understand you correctly) is that you are giving a vacation day and then making a certain day mandatory to use it. This practice is common among companies and extremely infuriating and in my opinion should be illegal. Better to have 35 days paid and make december 22nd a company holiday.

McDonalds quality control is second to none. Their standard menu tastes practically the same everywhere in the world. It's the same with Starbucks. I know that no matter what part of the planet I am at, I can get exactly what I expect to get. I'm never disappointed. I can't stress how important that part is. Bad quality control can really injure restaurants.

Janus is amazing. I replaced all of the hassle of maintaining a bunch of plugins and vimrc with Janus and a few lines in ~/.vimrc.local and ~/.janus.rake
With Janus, you can easily remove things you dont want and add plugins you need.
I know #1 looks completely insane, but I have been studying Chinese for about 2 years, and I just started writing 3 or 4 months ago, and the breakdown of it is actually fairly simple. There's actually a somewhat limited set of characters that are reused over and over again, and I have already learned to write every one of the pieces (*edit: In that particular character). It's already been broken down in a post above me so I won't do it again...
Some characters would be harder for me to remember than this, because this particular character is made up of common used components.

I didn't grow up with a lot of money, and was raised on the 'If it's available Wal-Mart, buy it at Wal-Mart' mentality.
Looking back on this, I wasted so much money on crap that just got replaced.
Now, I spare no expense (within reason....) to buy the nicest of what I want. End result? I'm more picky about what I buy, so I have fewer, but nicer things. and I am rarely left thinking "Well I wish my X could do Y".
It's really too bad there is not a matte option for it. I agonized over the MBA vs MBP decision for about a year, and finally got the High-End 15" 2011 MBP model with the matte screen upgrade. Couldn't be happier. Yeah, it's a big hulking beast, but the extra real estate and matte screen are really nice. I don't think I can go back to glossy ever again...
Yeah, the battery life thing is a real killer. My work computer is a sony vaio running linux. I like it well enough but it only gets 2.5 hours on a new battery! It's far and away the biggest drawback of this computer.
While this graph is indeed accurate for a static income, for many people the income will increase over the years (on top of the inflation) which will cause difference to be a little less dramatic.
Regardless, save as much as you can as early as you can...
In my opinion, the most important word in this post is 'phrase'.
I'm learning Chinese and the only way to translate English to Chinese is complete phrases / sentences. You can probably cheat much easier if your languages are more similar, but don't get lazy, think in phrases or you will never reach fluency.
1 -- It's perfect for casual play. I have a long commute that involves a subway, a high speed train, and a taxi. I can play it for 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. As a counterexample, another favorite game of mine is 'Tilt To Live', but I can't just play it any time, anywhere, because I need a 10 minute block of time before I start the level (technically I could pause it mid game and come back later, but realistically I unpause and die). But with Angry Birds, I can.
2 -- The 3-star system. You can beat the level trivially, but depending on the level it is somewhere between moderately challenging to kick me in the pants hard to get 3 stars on a level.
3 -- It's funny. the birds, the pigs, the sounds they make, the way stuff crashes. I still snicker after countless hours played.
tl;dr - it's a near perfect combination of casual-play, challenge, and hilarity
I am a 30 year old American, lived in America all my live, but have been in Taiwan for 9 months and I absolutely love it.
There's not much of a 'lower middle' class, but there's a sizable 'upper middle' class. If you can get there, you can live very very well.
There's less foreign population than in Beijing (can't comment on Shanghai, some people like it more, some people less). I still get a lot of looks if I'm not in the 'heavily foreigner populated' sections, but you get used to it eventually.
Compared to Beijing, the air is much cleaner, the food much better and diverse, and the english ability is much much better.
Biggest problems: Learning chinese is hard, hot humid summer
Having said all of that... I have no interest in living in Mainland full time. The air is too dirty, the people are too rude, and the great firewall is too annoying.

Agree on the last point -- at least, for Taiwan. In fact, those idealized graphs caused me a bit of a headache early on. Native mandarin speakers in Taiwan tend to drop the end of the 3rd tone, so it falls slowly then holds at the bottom for a minute, then rises slightly or even just cuts off.
