Norway overhauled their prison system in the late 90s, and their per capita mass shootings since then far outweigh the US.
They're at like 20x the US for 2009-2015. Even if you do the total rehabilitative 20 years or so of data they're at least 4x worse than the US in per capita mass shooting.

What do you think happens if you violate a court order? That's the threat behind violating the order of a judge. That it didn't happen doesn't mean my statement was incorrect. If they had actually left in contempt of the order, I would have said it did happen rather than it can happen.

Why not claim you have engineers that deliver the best value to shareholders? Employing the smartest people in the world to make an app to skim money off taxi going from point A to point B can't possibly be a judicious good value use of human resources, especially in the context of the extreme premium those at the absolute top demand.
How in the hell does one not make a profit when literally all they do is skim off the top of unlicensed taxi drivers, using an already fairly functional product?

Above I was told "results are what matter" (articbull) while advocating in support of the Norwegian treatment of mass killers.
The results are in and Norway is one of the worst places in the first world for per capita mass shootings, even worse than the US.
I can only conclude they are sadistic, malicious actors if they actually think this is the comparatively desirable result.
If you want my solution, here's roughly what I would do:
Victimless crime: basically no penalty for this, most of it should be eliminated as crime. Maybe a small fine or education at the worst.
Non-violent crime: Goal is restitution. Income or benefits are deducted to make the victim whole, probably with punitive damages to the victim as well. Basically no jail except in willful attempt to avoid restitution to victim, and perhaps not even then.
Violent crime: Most cases rehabilitation, plus restitution to victims. Prison is close to Norway type system for violence not resulting in dismemberment/death/permanent brain damage.
First instance of brutal violent crime to one victim: Norway type rehabilitation.
Repeated rape, repeated murder conviction, repeated molestation of children, repeated brutal life-disabling violence: Trial, exhaustive appeals, bullet to the head.
Mass murder of innocents: Trial, exhaustive appeals, then a bullet to the head.
The expensive part is largely the (comparatively) exhaustive appeals process, which means counterintuitively the innocent may be even worse off now that they won't be on death row.
Don't death row inmates get the most exhaustive appeals process of practically any class of prisoners? Honestly if I were innocent I think I'd prefer to be on death row which has the most costly (to the state) and exhaustive of all the appeals processes.
This change could counterintuitively condemn more innocent people.
Nice. Yeah it'd also be cool to easily see which European banks accept offshore US customers. It can be a real struggle finding offshore banks that don't mind dealing with FATCA for low value accounts.
I picked location US and tried to find popular locations like Panama, Singapore, Bahamas, UAE(Dubai). Nothing came up. Are there any good filters to pick for offshore from US banking? Or something like "exclude my current location from list."

Also bear in mind the expected murder chance of the average person from the Netherlands dropped into the US is not expected to be anything like the US average murder rate. The US is not nearly as demographically homogenous as the Netherlands and someone with Dutch heritage experiences much closer to Dutch murder rates in the US.

How do I protect my toddler from all the criminals who keep their guns? Call the police and wait 15 minutes?
FGC-9; everybody in Europe who wants a gun can trivially have it within a week without interacting with the criminal element or buying regulated components. That goes for modern ammunition too.
I would also revoke all the mandatory reporting and other reporting laws for therapists, and remove the ability for government to use therapy/medical records for considering licensing or security clearances. These are barriers that keep people that need therapy most from seeking it.
There are ways to mitigate, but not eliminate, the presence of traumatic situations. Whether that is the purview of government perhaps is another question.
I suspect war and bad family environment are a massive source of trauma of US persons; the path to mitigating the former at least facially is a bit more obvious.
It's a good list for under 30s probably. Taking care of demanding and constantly shifting needs of young children easily bombs half this list.

which appears to refer to federal level. The general trend of federal receipts have been fairly flat above 15% for decades (except during great recession circa 2009), and the spending slightly different rising a bit above and funded by debt and/or inflationary effects.
My takeaway is here the beast has not been starved, although the beast is spending more of our children's future incomes in the form of increasing debt.

Lawsuits are indeed an interesting way of enforcing the law. Although what I find particularly egregious is when a single party and lawyer is used to enforce the law for multiple people, keeping the payout for themselves.
For instance, Albert Dytch [0] was a party to HUNDREDS of lawsuits, seeking ADA violations for places he essentially went to only with the purpose of finding something wrong to sue for. Why isn't that money distributed across the affected disabled people rather than one guy and his lawyer? The incentives are perverse.

Ah but I suspect this was after arrival in the mainland. There was a "seasoning" process in the "west indies" where as much as 50% of slaves perished before arriving to market. And I don't think that includes the long voyage across the Pacific nor between capture and initial sale.

If someone seduces a doctor (see the trial of Conrad Murray who was Michael Jackson's propofil fixer who was in deep shit to multiple strippers for one night stand child support) for 20% you could take away 40k tax free and move to a quaint midwest town and come out quite ahead. Also if you're poor as dirt and just feed the kids rice and lentils and rely on (now increased) benefits and public institutions for everything else you can come ahead too. Whether this has anything to do with high fertility rates at the low income bands is up for interpretation.

In the US lower incomes are associated with higher fertility rates. This may suggest the elites, to 'solve' this problem, should bankrupt the population further and then give them lots of time unemployed to spur "free" activity taken during the boredom.
