I too miss my IRC days. I met many cool people on there. One introduced me to Blink182 and the other became a good friend whom I have known for almost 20 years. Some of the stuff I know today I do because of my interactions with those I met on IRC. Time has truly flown by. The signs of grey are visible in my hair and what one might not even call a beared. :)

A few years ago, I interviewed at such a company. I left humility and empathy in my feedback to said company. The level of contempt I felt from the interviewers left me traumatized. I'm not joking.

I spend most of my money on books. I rarely ever spend money on anything else. Living as a kid with my grandma had a huge impact on things I did in my later years. We were poor but always had access to books.
