I didn't think of this thank you! I wanted to stream in my friend's server for my friends to watch but his server isn't boosted, but now I'm gonna join a random server and stream for strangers instead!

I love that it often recommends me videos from small channels, often with 0 view. This started happening only about a few months ago I don't know if it's just me.

Yes, because prompting an AI requires much less skill than animating it yourself. Do you think "AI prompters" will earn the same amount as animators?

Disagree. I was absolutely miserable when I was forced to meet with people in real life, although I enjoyed some interactions, deep down I never liked hanging out with them. Unless you are very lucky and born in a location where you can easily find like-minded people or if your personality is suited for meeting random people and not having any preferences in friends (kind of people who can be friends with anyone they meet), then being forced to meet people is hell. I'd rather have online friends that have similar interests/sense of humor etc... Than have forced and shallow "real" relationships where I have to change who I am in order to fit in.

AI algorithms are human expression.

I could never take notes in school or in college. I tried many times but I just forget about them and never check them anyway, and if I do they are pretty useless because my understanding of whatever I'm learning changes pretty quickly so if I look at my notes 2 days later they won't make any sense to me.

I'm yet to see an AI-generated or AI-assisted work that provokes any internal experience other than thinking "hey, cool pixels/sounds/sentences/whatever"

You can't. Soulseek is alive and well. It started with Napster and now others are carrying the torch.

Then what was it saying? It said that humans can take inspiration from outside art, from the real world. You can do the same thing with AI by training it on pictures from the real world.

What do you mean by "better"? I know some people are technically better than me at making music but technically impressive doesn't always mean good (by good I mean something I would like because it's all subjective). Music I make is some of my favorite music because I'm the only person who knows my taste best so it makes sense, I can make exactly what I want to hear. And I don't like sharing it with random people I mostly just show it to my friends. But the main reason I make it is because the process feels so good and when I'm done I have a new favorite song to listen to.

How do I know it's running in the browser?

Code is not more high level it starts from as low as you can get in terms of abstractions, it explains what electricity is and how it moves through wires and and moves on to creating simple logic gates using switches.

I don't think it's about expectations at all. For me it's about the state of mind I'm in when I listen to it, same song will or won't give me goosebumps based on where my head is at even if I've heard it hundreds of times.

I beg the crypto advocates to make those possibilities reality It's up to people to start utilizing the technology. But some need it more than others, for you it might not be necessary but millions of people are already using cryptocurrencies in countries where government caused hyperinflation of their currencies.

This is why I never read articles. I could spend 15 minutes reading and in the end I'd have learned nothing of substance.

I use Discord for the same purpose. Just mindlessly chatting with strangers can be very relaxing and I find it to be way more addictive than facebook and similar platforms.

Software is whatever you want it to be. I can write software that is not for other humans. That's the most fun part of software engineering to me, when you don't care about the users and just do it just for the fun of doing it.

Everyone says that but I can't think of any real problems I personally have that I could solve using programming.
