I'd say it's about making gameplay less rough for players. It's one of the first things I notice when checking out GTA inspired titles (especially from indie developers) that the streets are realistically narrow, while in GTA titles you can easily fit 4-5 vehicles in 2 lanes.

The best thing about Affinity is that Adobe noticed and I've been on "first year only" Creative Cloud promo €30/mo for a couple of years now, all it takes is a mention on chat whenever the promo is about to end.

Can you split vertical panels? Like project files on top half and terminal on the other half? I haven't found this option on early previews and haven't had a chance to play with it again.

XD had a great start, tons of updates, good team communication, I really liked where it was going 3-4 years ago. Then, for the past 2 years+, a total radio silence. Barely any new features, just crash fixes to make paying customers shut up. At least I now know the reason.

As much as I LOVE to shit on Adobe (they leaked my CC info) they surprised me recently with one new feature I've been begging for years - bullet points and ordered lists in text fields. Ever since Illustrator became an alternative to InDesign for smaller print jobs, it's been my core missing feature.

Although, in the grand scheme of things, Illustrator has been really left behind and apps like InDesign or XD have seen next to zero updates in years.

I spent most of the trial hating Copilot and the way takes over my Tab key in Jetbrains software. It got in the way a bit too much. Every time I tried to use emmet shortcuts, live template triggers or anything muscle memory related, it would bring something else, so I had to undo, press Esc a couple of times and then continue with whatever I actually wanted.

However, every now and then, there came a typed object or something mundane and Copilot exceled at it, so I decided that I want to find a way for it to coexist in a way that's as easy to use as pressing Tab to expand it. Lo and behold - I found an unused key below Tab (AKA caps lock), remapped it and now it doesn't get in the way and I can use Copilot's help only when I want.

I have similar experiences in general, however I've been unlucky enough to be a victim of a couple of leaks like Adobe, Invision and Gfycat. Some marketplace retailers also leaked my email and couple of smaller stores too. Totally worth to know this. That said - my general info@ email that's semi publicly (simple js obfuscation) available on the website is orders of magnitude more spammed than those leaked ones.

WHY?

Being a boomer I don't miss anything about those cards. Drivers were awful (if even existed), sound quality mediocre and all of them came with a ton of compromises, if not quirks.
