I would be interested in the avx2 transition penalty under real world workloads.

How and why are you so vehemently defending instacart when it comes to WA state law?
Class action lawsuit.
I'd love to see someone at Instacsrt jailed for wage theft.
They should have to pay back "the winnings" by 3x and fire the people involved.
Israel has "the bomb", they definitely could start a global war.
Many professional books these days have issues with registration, bleed, trimming, etc. The quality is quite poor, to the point where I have fatigue determining if a book is "legit" or not.
You are on social media right now.
These cars must have a little pop-out joystick to maneuver it around in a garage or during repair?
There should be a standardized control that pops out of the dash using a fixed icon, so that anyone can enable an override.
Nuts.
How awesome would it have been to be a high performing student, writing programs that a lower performing student would have to execute manually on your simulated computer system. So much good stuff here. Do you want to layout the nand gate or BE the nand gate? Or be the one that decides which problems the nand gate solves?
It doesn't bode well for either of them. This is a pure contraction of the markets they are trying to serve.
Because of leakage current.
Yikes!
There are lots of other FPGAs that are still available for RISC-V to target that are precluded from this announcement.
ARM used to sue anyone trying to make an ARM clone and now this. Great news for RISC-V. At least one if not two low end FPGA manufacturers will be shipping a fabric with hard blocks supporting RISC-V.
They emit C and call out to the system C compiler. They bypass the normal Lua extension mechanism for performance.
I think it is a great short and long term move. The new smaller processes aren't getting us to faster clock rates, they are making things cheaper. GF can get to the same point by optimizing their current processes.
ST Micro had a sorta-never-launched FPGA and Arm SoC called "Greenfield" that they announced back in 2005.
We can start by making funding per child the same across the US and not tied to local property taxes.
Long term classist ideologies are incompatible with Democracy.
If your macro isn't changing execution semantics, it probably doesn't need to be a macro.
This is why (if needs to be a special form if your language is eager, but you want to have short circuit conditionals. If you language is lazy, lots of things DON'T need to be macros.
Could you make another one, where the patient looks like a clown and call it, "a game" ?
Mistakes that can't be unmade. They happen only once.
Forrests will be relegated to zoos soon enough.
I work on a system that strives for 100% efficiency, I think it makes the it extremely fragile. Loss is also tolerance for upset. It might be cheaper to produce more and not implement this system at all. Innovation comes from increase the size of the solution universe over micro optimizations.
You have 40 minutes to make a slide deck that explains bloomfilters and 5 minutes to present in front of the director of engineering.
Go is simplistic, not simple. Bug densities are largely constant across languages, so the less expressive language will enable more bugs.
Patent Trolls encourage innovation!
America goes big, I am proud of our 243% turnout. Why be satisfied with 100%? This great country wasn't built by standing around or sticking with the status quo. No Old-European socialist has managed to break a 100, but we did and we should be proud.
Drones can shoot down, drones can shoot up, drones can operate in free fall as easily as powered, they can operate in perigee and apogee, butter side up and butter side down.
Look at the ways the OP is (charitably) correct, picking holes doesn't make it impossible.
Wait, no way! Does the pen work?
The truth is between both of your posts. I 'toshed, I would still recommend it, but only for the kind of folks that would sign up for a one way ticket to Mars. They will absolutely love it.
Is there a Seattle EFF chapter? The ACLU and the EFF could co-host some events at Town Hall.
