This is exactly why an entirely encrypted internet would be desirable. ISP's won't be able to track or throttle since they won't know who's connecting to what.

Taking him out would remove an easy political scapegoat. Better to keep him as an enemy to sabor rattle against.
Those at the top play games, those at the bottom die for it. It's all a way to strengthen the loyalty of voters.

You aren't taking into account the degradation sea water has on infrastructure. The pounding waves and salt would most certainly make the buildings unsafe.
Legalization and regulation would help move the market away from operations like this to sustainable farmland operations
There is no "alternative". Government can be approached from a million different ways. To say it's black or white (capitalism vs communism) is completely self-serving and offers no real insight into the fundamental complexity of human civilization.
Use a service that respects that then. Lyft.
If an advertiser doesn't want to reach viewers on the largest and most concentrated video market on Earth then that's their own internal problem they need to deal with.
This is the brave new world. The free-market of information is beginning to show its teeth for better or worse and those who shy away from it will lose market share.
Broken for me on Stable Firefox (52.0) as well
Been an hour.. wow. Is this a ddos on their auth services?
Bus driving is an addictive Zen like experience
The movie "Paterson" addresses this exact situation. A poet who drives a bus. Very good movie I recommend anyone interested in this topic to watch it.Tax avoidance on capital gains since it can be added to your IRA. Also it would allow bitcoin to be purchased from any trading station in the US rather than a website you have to sign-up for
This type of "web" would run perfectly over encrypted networks as well since it would carry much less data. It would solve the problem of cluttered/fluffy web and insecure/easily-surveilled communications.
Being realistic though, this would only serve highly functional computer users seeking simplicity and privacy.
A lot of internet users view "beautiful" webpages as a display of trustworthiness and importance. And that's a very important trait if you are a business.
the lack of education on the part of consumers
You realize if drugs were legal and regulated people wouldn't need to seek out desperate and risky online orders to satisfy their addiction? When weed was legalized in Oregon, I immediately knew exactly what strain/THC%/CBD% I was buying. This was not available on the black market.
Education and security come from acceptance and regulation.
I figured this comment carried enough satire to not need explanation. He was using an offensive tone to carry over the implicated apathy that city planning has on the impoverished.
Wow. This is an amazing tool (Scrimba) to begin learning any web development. Serious kudos.
The point of tolls is not to make roads exclusive for the wealthy
But that's exactly what it accomplishes. Further pushing the poor into poverty punishing the commute to a minimum wage job in a part of town they can't afford.LA is 35 miles long. What would the walking commute of 10 million people look like?
So you're suggesting that instead of fixing the problem (public transit) they should start whipping people so that the rich can drive on their traffic-free roads?
Imagine how much more expensive living in LA will be. Instead of fixing their god awful public transit (like NYC) they want to punish people for using the only reliable mode of transportation?
EXACTLY. READ MY ORIGINAL COMMENT.
Yeah, I understand not wanting Uber in your country and going after the company, but to hit bottom-tier employees is just wrong. Reminds me of the US justice system in the finance sector.
I'm talking about the monthly data, not the phone.
Would this compromise any consumer routers?
Love the bitter comments in hacker forum avoiding self-reconciliation of ignoring the fundamental advantages of a scarce global currency.
Side note: Bitcoin's market cap is still vastly under gold's.
A lot of people can't afford their cars and buy with credit. Something you can't really do on phone plans.
Also, this way you can add another middle man that makes money data-mining your browsing habits.
Clickbait title. Should read "Moral outrage more likely when scapegoat present"
Instead of simply using bitcoin (internet), these companies all created arbitrary currencies (intranet) to essentially generate profit for themselves. Having seen dozens of literally identical projects I can promise you all of these "networks" which utilize their own arbitrary currency are scams.
So.. similar to Jesus
Become poor and try finding a job in programming. Seriously, this was the biggest motivation for me to learn what I did. Got me to take it seriously as a means of survival.
Actually, you're wrong. Just recently Obama opened up data sharing between the NSA, FBI, CIA and hundreds of other agencies.
