Seems like such a shitty thing to victimize the potential victim. But… if you didn’t know that images you took had metadata… maybe you shouldn’t be allowed to use a computer. I mean. I’m going on decades of knowing this. Feel like there is a mid 90s X-Files episode that even like breaks this down. If not NCIS or some shit.

I mean marketing is how business uses psychology to control the masses.. why would we think ai wouldn’t be used by businesses, governments, independent psychopaths?

Absolutely lol - as a human in tech; I like to try and live like it is 1999 - and the 1999 where I wasn’t inside writing Perl but 1999 like when I was outside roller blading, skateboarding, bmxing, before I had a cell phone.

TLDR, go to therapy; you are a people pleaser.

Sadly, it’s a societal issue as we are told to be X or Y. Boys wear blue and hang with the fellas. Girls wear pink and have tea with the ladies. Go to college, get a job, get married, have kids, die.

No one is ever like climb Everest, surf in Indonesia, backpack Europe, get lost in the wilderness.

I mean I work in tech. I’m 39. I’ve been on social media my entire life. At one point I was addicted. I cut social media down to 3 hours a week now I’ve taken years off in the past. I’ve also beaten alcohol addiction after the loss of my son. I’ve also quit gaming because I couldn’t balance it. Should we ban gaming? Should we ban marketing? Billboards? I see booze everywhere and yet no one is saying people with alcohol addictions are harmed by these ads.

I understand the psychology of marketing and what these companies do to exploit that.

At the end of the day if it’s about the kids. The parents should be educated at this point.

When I was a “tween” I was building CGI blogs and myspacing before moving from Perl to PHP; in high school you needed a college email address to sign up for Facebook so that didn’t come for until after I graduated high school in 2004.

Sure things have changed but I find if I pause and reflect daily and stay in the moment I don’t ever doom scroll or need social media.

Even now this comment is only being written bc I’m taking a poo.

Capitalism at work. As a male and full time woman’s wear person who has been married to a woman for 17 years I’ve experienced these truths from both sides. It’s funny how rectangle and inverted triangle body shapes are oft ignored as this would open up the market for clothes to be genderless.

The Unfixable Bug 10 years ago

Bad title; everything can be fixed but the fix implemented may not be ones favorite solution. The fix here is having a color blind setting that skews those two colors when enabled.
