No it doesn't, because it always will choose based on color, even though you may hire explicitly based on skill for instance. What it's missing is that it is the human component that evaluates a person's skill influenced by the color, before giving the information to the algorithm. So this whole charade just seems forced.
Well, if your country is much stronger, has no real possibility of being invaded, no real possibility of being bombed, and interns 2nd and 3rd generations of immigrants, maybe your country is just paranoid and racist.
You must remember that it is only the popular species. I'm from Portugal and here sharks have another name and are eaten regularly under that name. If it was called shark (the Portuguese equivalent to shark) there would probably be a whole commotion about it.
