Clearly the AI is not as widely used within the company as he proclaimed :)
this is as retarded as asking someone to forget a picture they have seen
it looks like he is not fit for the office, which we know since his days in San Francisco :)
government has to govern
Retribution provides almost no societal benefit. Most of society doesn’t know or care about any individual crime. Rehabilitation of a single member however will benefit all of society, as you can’t predict all possible social interactions of a single person.
1 in 100 people (or os) is schizophrenic. It's quite predictable what happens when a schizophrenic person takes psychedelics. I am not saying this is your case here. However, if anything your single case example shows inadequacy in the health- and social care systems and not unpredictability of DMT.
If a person hadn't experienced a debilitating depression it's hard to imagine what another person is experiencing. All those walks in the park and hobbies sound logical and wonderful, on paper. Reality is a bit different.
wind is unpredictable until you start to study weather patterns
if you can see it you can copy it.
Apple is user-hostile and user-empowering at the same time.
Both engineering managers and engineering project managers are results of an obscure or non-existent vision. When you don't know why you have an oar in your hands you need a person with whip to remind you.
"help us bring Microsoft to every home's network"
nothing beats getting to know each other on IRC
hyping on hating Musk, what else is new
Perhaps we are destined to perceive it like layers because of our perception, and not reality itself :)
This requires more research.
"Three groups of patients could be identified: 79% stated that their personality had not changed at all postoperatively. In this group, patients showed masslve defense and denial reactions, mainly by rapidly changing the subject or making the question ridiculous. Fifteen per cent stated that their personality had indeed changed, but not because of the donor organ, but due to the life-threatening event. Six per cent (three patients) reported a distinct change of personality due to their new hearts." https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF00435634
I think you started great, but didn't follow through on your own thought.
"learn to help each other solve problems"
The most important problem we need to solve, is how to survive in the universe, where any large rock falling from the sky can wipe out our civilization, if not the whole mammalian branch.
We don't have to abandon efforts to improve human life on this planet while trying to expand to more than one.
I think the idea of "jumping ships" is silly, this is technically impossible in the near future. But urgency of expanding existed long before any recent events. To survive we need to spread.
Earth is a single point of failure.
That's cool. I hope you can find and be satisfied with the materialistic explanation of the sheer awe you are feeling when you think about all these galaxies.
Jokes aside, atheism is a religion (as in fundamentalist belief system), and not a nice one either. Being agnostic probably keeps your mind more flexible [citation needed].
You are projecting christian view a bit here.
Buddhism and perhaps other Indian religions have some really large numbers, e.g. http://allergrootste.com/big/book/ch1/ch1_7.html
that really depends on your life choices.
yup, that's going to help with pollution so much.
Why not just invest into cruise airships?
great solution for some with noise pollution increase for everyone.

Psychedelics are clearly "doors of perception" as Huxley noted. I think it's up to an individual to decide on personal course of action and need for such doors to be opened with or without external tools.
