You can't enforce complexity rules or check against known leaked passwords or that they don't reuse username as password or anything like that if you hash on the client too

I use this to automate a lot of tasks. E.g. automatically clip supermarket coupons every week, check for tax loss harvesting opportunities in my portfolio, etc.

I switched a few month back and it's still painful for me. Plain search results are OK but Google is so much better with deep integrations.

You can get the best of both worlds by self-hosting and putting a CDN in front of that. This way you get robustness and your app will still function in isolation

Unfortunately adding value to society isn't very correlated to profitability. The most extreme example I can think of is selling heroin.

What worked for me is to settle on a generic filler item. Personally I use toothpaste. Costs a decent amount, can be stored for a long time, doesn't need much space and I'll need it eventually. This way I don't go looking around randomly but just always fill the gap with that item.

I'm subscribed to change my consumption habits and it has worked for the most part. I usually don't buy enough fruit and vegetables when I shop for myself and avoid certain vegetables completely. Imperfect fixes this for me. Fruit and vegetables just appear every week and once they're in my home I"m too cheap to let them go to waste so I end up eating them.

I'd subscribe to normal produce delivery instead if that were an option. I don't really care about the "imperfect" part and the premium over my local supermarket is pretty negligible
