Did you look at AudioQuest DragonFly DAC? I have been using it for a while and it works great. You can use your regular cable headphone with it.

Since I discovered a USB DAC/Pre-amp, I no longer miss headphone jack. My headphone sounds even better using usb dac/pre-amp from audioques. Agreed. This is a good business decision to issue a recall. It probably won't cost too much since very few people will actually return it.

I think you are ok if you are still on OPT status. As you long as you can show that are applying skills you learned from school.
