How can anyone say anything definitive from this little information? Some manager dislikes a few of his employees. Scatterbrained appearances can be indicative of so many things: a poor work environment, terrible communication, lack of culture, or no team gelling. There's also just people unqualified for their job, but a 50% miss rate in hiring? That sounds unlikely. Or like your biggest problem.

I evaluated both of these platforms without really thinking that either were competing with each other (although, I guess it's obvious). I found that, yes, Tumblr is huge, more user friendly and community driven, but it's also over-run with 13 year olds posting Twilight pictures, whereas Posterous just felt a little more focused on the single user blogging experience. A lot less clique-influenced. I liked that. It's disheartening to know they're going for the same things Tumblr is.

I was under the impression that Microsoft is focusing on standards and web experience now because the last time it used a browser for strategic positioning with the operating systems market it got vilified or sued by basically every country with electricity?
