Nice to see someone discover this! I've always been partial to spot the differences and crossview images - I am able to cross each eye independently of one another, which makes overlapping these sorts of images very easy. For example, I could cross my right eye, while my left stays perfectly still. This causes instant double vision, and relaxing how crossed the eye is lets me line the images up very quickly. It's fun to do in places with a repetitive wall texture, too - seeing something in real life while adding a faux 3D effect on top of it is kind of trippy. Probably my most useless skill, but a fun one regardless.

That doesn't have to be the case at all. They could send the password (plaintext, hashed or otherwise) elsewhere to get checked that just takes a little bit of time, and get some form of positive/negative response back. Or any number of similar alternatives. It's still bad, but let's not jump to conclusions.

I'm concerned with the continual buyout of large established UK companies by US ones. It's happened a lot in the past ~10 years, most notably Cadbury's, and not only are there tax implications, but the standard of product seems to drop to the lowest acceptable while attempting to keep the same prices. There's also the issue with business ethics of the parent company, which tend to be rather different than the UK.

Not SpaceX, a partner company. While helping is admirable, if he actually wanted to help in a more reasonable timeframe/more humble way then there are better channels he could have used, this all seems like a publicity stunt to me.

I feel like a site shouldn't have to assume that you're familiar with their product to understand what they're trying to push. This single page is useless to actually explain what this is in context, you need to click back to the main site (which is at the bottom of the page) to find out, and even then it's very sparse.

I think this is a really clickbaity title - it implies that a caloric deficit via keeping track of what you eat isn't a path to weight loss, despite the article itself stating that that is not the case.

CLion debugging works pretty well for most cases, though there are some small issues every so often. I always make sure to report them to the appropriate place if they're not known already, though.

We use Nexus at work and have linked up NPM to it along with several Maven repos. I don't know why anyone wouldn't do this if they were a business.

Some places have no other choices for ISPs. I don't disagree that a VPN would help but that feels like it's simply dismissing that there's a problem.
