There is no evidence of a genocide in Gaza, so ironically your claims are all false. Anti-semitism is the least of the problems of these Universities. They promote blatant racism and discrimination against certain groups while claiming to help others. Finally they are being punished, and there's nothing they can do in court because the evidence is literally against them.

The only people to blame for this are the Universities who are blatantly violating civil rights law -- even after a Supreme Court ruling! Terence and other academics who have had nothing to do with promotion of this blatant discrimination should be angry at their University leadership and administrators for this outcome, not the Trump administration who is doing THE RIGHT THING.

The faculty should take this opportunity to make the Universities drastically reduce the dead weight of administrators who have grown much more than faculty and produce no value.

Where I work people work on shared Linux boxes so no one has root access. Conda environments are used to basically install packages you'd normally use a package manager for. Why do you use `uv` if `pixi` is a superset?

I think http://pixi.sh is much cooler because it supports conda environments so you can install non-python packages as well (e.g, gcc).

Well, even a better argument to bring those factories to the US. Why not develop the know-how on manufacturing and improve automation in the US rather have China lead there.

Europeans went wild with their social welfare spending so badly that now they need to import 3rd worlders because they have too many people who are on the government dole and not enough young people to pay into the system. Quite ironically, these "guests" are ending up eating away further from the welfare system and repaying their hosts with terrorism, as was recently seen, and will continue to be seen.

Also, it's easy to have social welfare when you have a homogeneous high-trust society... The more migrants the EU lets in, the more you see the whole thing deteriorate.

There's no such thing as "free" anyway, it's always paid by someone else. Pension at 60 is unsustainable, free education just devalues it, making it harder to fire people makes it harder to hire people, etc...

Europe is in economic decline, it's in population decline (as many other western nations btw), it's becoming more authoritarian (the UK prolly arrests more people for social media posts than Russia nowadays), and it's failing to compete on the world stage.

You have bodily autonomy. You can choose to have or not to have sex (which may or may not lead to pregnancy). Abortion is a medical procedure and is not a human right.

On the other hand, when it came to the COVID vaccine, the Dems were very quick to ignore the bodily autonomy argument based on bogus claims.

The supreme court did not ban abortion, so your argument is moot here. I'm personally OK with abortion in the early stages. But I'd argue that there's a line where a woman's "bodily autonomy" ends and a prenate's bodily autonomy begins where abortion becomes more than the equivalent of removing an appendix.
