Ossington has basically no street life from Bloor to Dundas. Once you get south of Dundas it gets very lively, but the northern stretch of Ossington is a bit bleak, as someone who has also run a lot in that neighbourhood.
Not OP, but in my experience you can pretty much always buy food-grade CO2 tanks from homebrewing shops. They usually do refills and exchanges too, as well as selling all the hosing and gaskets and clamps and whatnot you'd need.

FYI every time I try to cancel my NYT subscription, they give me a deep discount. Also, if you have an All-Access NYT subscription, it now includes The Athletic. I cancelled my Athletic subscription a while back, but since it's included in NYT now, I'm more inclined to keep my NYT subscription and kill both birds with one stone.

Coffee shop I used to work at made the conscious choice not to have any customer-accessible power outlets, so people were limited by their laptop batteries. I was told when they built the place, they debated between offering free wifi, or having plugs in the cafe. They ended up offering wifi, but no plugs. Seemed to work pretty well, I don't remember there being a huge crowd of people staying long. Although it was also a small shop with fairly limited seating.
Although, that plan is faulty now, given that I could easily get 6-8 hours of work out of my Macbook, thanks to the M1 chips.

Rails 7 has abandoned JS bundling in favor of using somebody else's CDN. Have fun with that.
This isn't true. You can vendor your JS libraries and Rails will bundle them for you. It uses jsbundling-rails[1] to handle that.

This kind of thinking is what's always intrigued me about freelancing/consulting. If I get bored of coding, I can take 6 months off and work an outdoor summer job, or reduce my coding hours to 20 hours/week and get a part time job at a coffee shop or something like that.
