You might be understood, but understanding others is where you run into problems :(
Luggage tipp: Have exactly one, easy to grab main piece at luggage that goes on your back or on wheels. Have at most one tiny extra piece to carry. The second your luggage exceeds three it becomes a massive hassle: You cannot hold on to things, you will lose one piece and your fun trip descends into a disorganized mess.
Luggage which clips together like a storage/day backpack combo is very valuable for this: Your backpack might be comically large, but you can haul all your stuff with free hands. At your accomodation, you can leave the large bag and continue on your day pack.
Free hands are critical when travelling by train or bus, or if you just wanna get a snack and drink.

Hä?! A clock shows the period of time we are currently in. A clock only showing hours would for example indicate that we are in the 14th hour of the day, for the entire duration of that hour. That is not an error. Similarly, a hh:mm clock will show the hour and minute we are currently in for the duration of that minute.
No clock can display the exact current moment of time. That would require infinite digits, and even then those will be late, since lightspeed will ensure you recieve the femtoseconds and below really late.

Fudnamentally the genes have to code for a biologicaly system that is able to adapt its behaviour well enough to allow for dynamic behaviour while also keeping it on guiderails to make it function as a bee. Importantly a bee emerging from its brood cell immediately gets to work without any training. Where does this information come from if it is not genetic?

Currently, considering past patterns, it looks like PFAS are problematic and the potential cost of failing to mitigate could be very high. So being more cautious is the rational solution, even in the face of uncertainty.
The problem is PFAS are in basically all the water on the planet and persist in the body for several years. Even if they might have a small effect that will likely be magnified due to accumulation and the long persistence. We have had very similar scenarios before (lead, asbestos,... ) and they had horrible consequences. This is the time to get ahead of this cycle.

The underlying problem is that the current FSD architecture doesn't seem to have good guard rails for these outlier situations you describe (sunlight blinding the camera from just the right angle probably?) and it is probably not possible to add such rules without limiting the system enormously.

I am a diehard EV proponent, but it's important to admit that there are places where EVs are not the right solution. Especially in vehicles which take part in emergency response, the high energy density of fossil fuels is absolutely a benefit.

Well, a lot of it was corruption. A sufficient level of corruption can destroy almost any system, even if it had a well-meaning leader at the top.
On the Moon you can do the simplest thing that works and if it works at 10% efficiency and breaks after 1 year - so be it, if it's enough time to get resources to make a new one.
The opposite it true: You can throw away things on Earth and have local industry produce replacements. You cannot cost-effectively bring equipment to the moon since you have significant launch costs. Optimizing for light-weight and reliable machines is inherently costly. There is no escape from gravity here.
That's all fine if it means it can work with lunar materials only.
There is no manufacturing capability on the moon and you need to price in the cost of setting up such an industry through the bottleneck of lauches.
The "AI will automate it and we can let go of knowledgeable humans" requires a very naive and sinister mindset, which seems widespread among so called leadership roles. If you ask yourself how a rational person could make such a overcommitment to an unproven technology, the answer is: They are not being rational.

Absolutely not. In space you have to dela with things like radiation, extreme temperatures, or cold welding of joints. Energy supply can be a big issue depending on your environment. On the moon you have to deal with extremely abrasive dust.
The most critical issue in space is how difficult it is to fix things: If you can get a human there, they will be constrained by airlocks and space suits. In most cases it will be impossible to get anybody there and you need to construct 100% reliable or self-repairing machines. This is extremely difficult.

You'd be suprised by the amount of people who haven't got the memo.
People are also more aware of plastics in their food and using plastic tupperware in the microwave might add a large amount of plastic to the food [1]. Due to this I also switched to glass containers, which are also easier to clean.

OpenSCAD is amazing, especially for highly detailed geometry. Fusion360 was crashing when I modelled a honeycomb structure of ~2000 cells, while OpenSCAD easily handeled a similar model.
