Yes.. Add the term transgender and obviously it needs to go.
I don't know the specifics, but i'm sure it's like canceling (and calling) a hospital in a small town a trans clinic because they happen to have a trans patient

I don't know th- AAAAHHHH
So authoritative!
You had me for a second :)
Being trans, I feel this so much.
On a side note, it was interesting after Trump was elected where some of my co-workers wanted to use old pronouns after some laws changed _in meetings_ and I realized the only thing stopping them was the awkwardness it would have been for _them_ in that situation
They're using the analogy of mining for gold. the cost of a shovel/pitchfork goes up when the price of gold goes down - which is a double whammy
It's by design.
use openrouter, and call it a day. auto switching between providers, connectivity to all clouds and even works with free models
I don't see it as adding fuel to the fire. I see it as helping the market price companies correctly
So we get so worked up over this stuff, and for good reason. But personally I'm taking another stance...
let them..
It's not my choice to make someone understand what's best for an individual or as a group. Let them make these decisions, and learn for themselves. Will this cause issues where I am at risk of getting measles? Or that kids could get sick over non pasteurized milk? yes, but we're back in a place where people have to feel the pain.
That's not to judge, or belittle or put anyone down. There's people who have views and values that conflict and that's OK.. Even if it's not the best for us a whole.
I'm right there with you, and to be honest Lua just works. I helped with Neovim when it started ~10 years ago, and didn't understand the big deal about implementing lua.. But now that it's here, I can't believe it wasn't forked and implemented sooner
Totally worth it. I tied it to openrouter.ai so that I could use 'all the AI's' (TM)
Totally worth it
While I get your view, I think examples would help to move the conversation along in a more constructive manner
I'm curious what your suggest mmap pragma would be.
what's going on around colorado springs with these shapes?

I don't quite understand what happened other than "deported by ICE".
I have thought the same thing. How is it created? is it an idea by an LLM to make the language, or a dev to create a language designed for an llm.
How do we get the LLM to gain knowledge on this new language that we have no example usage of?
you're right, but it brings up an even bigger question in my mind -
If farms where wiped out we a huge percentage of the population would no longer exist, yet they 100% are a commodity with low margins.
We don't value things based on long term risk/need
They have a chat feature allowing you to talk with multiple models
I've been using openrouter.ai to use "all llm's". No subscription, and can be tied to your editor of choice
Can you explain?
Speech is not being criminalized -- you can say the exact same things on a different forum.
s/criminalized/supressed/ and message still holds true. You can still say the exact same things on a different forum.
It's not to get into a network, it's just to list where they're at.. For points. Similar to internet points :). There's no hacking involved just nerds being nerds
What you find shows up here: https://wigle.net/
As you can see there's quite a few people who do it
I'm sad that xsnow doesn't work on modern environments. Having Snow fall on top of windows was really cool
I'm right there with you, as long as that 300 mbps connection is symmetrical, and the ISP is carrier neutral. I didn't know how big a deal neutrality was until I switched from Suddenlink to a small company called Vexus. Gigabytes of nightly backups went from hours to 5 minutes, and downloads from certain companies improved drastically.
It depends on how much you use it. Being able to open multiple files, visually diff from a VCS, and find/replace in all open buffers is quite handy if you're in the CLI quite a lot
They are not forcing you, it's that the 1% have savings and want that savings to make money so it's invested. Portions of that investment go into banks who loan out money to the middle class.
The middle class uses this money to buy cars/houses which helps the 1% to increasing their savings, which they then invest a portion of into banks...
BUT like another comment discussed, a lot of this is going over seas. Right now this cycle is pushing US asset values higher, but at some point this will come crashing down, and the money that was invested in under inflated markets will be valued correctly/over valued.
At which point that money will flow back into the US.
I use it frequently too, but there's some terrible edge cases: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53648244/specifying-the-...
I live in Amarillo and never knew about this building. Will have to visit the next time I head that way.
The negative effects may be the very reason why it works, as it has an hormetic response https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hormesis similar to fasting.
My understanding is that the inflation is causing skyrocketing asset values, it just hasn't trickled down into the economy.
