Something I've noticed with me and other gen-Zers is that meeting with friends or strangers over Discord VoIP is a great way to socialize. It's missing some of the social benefits of in-person meetups, but it's very low-commitment (just hope on a call) and it's much easier to find others who share your interests.

As someone with ADHD-PI, I've dealt with this as well. What's helped me a lot is using the GTD technique (https://hamberg.no/gtd) and making sure to add "respond to X" to my "In" list. It's not perfect and sometimes it still takes me a while to respond, but at least I eventually get to it.
Never thought I'd see Boulders Climbing Gym mentioned on HN! I loved going to the downtown location as a college student and everyone I met there was so nice and helpful.
Love to see the UPL on hacker news :)
One of my first personal projects was making 2 discord bots that would have an infinite “conversation” using Markov chains. Feeding them text from Reddit produced some hilarious results.
I've been diagnosed with ADHD-PI for 1.5 years. You should focus on therapy and medication treatments from professionals (ideally those who specialize in ADHD). Outside of that, I think just learning about how our minds work differently compared to neurotypical brains and why it usually causes problems has been very helpful for me.
