The Swarm Tile looks easily integratable into PCB designs. And, it's very low power. Although, I wonder why they need about 3 Watts power consumption when transmitting. At their low transmit frequencies (148-150 MHz), I would think they could lower that number to less than 1 Watt since the wavelengths are so long. But hey, if you deploy your sensor in a sunny location with solar panels, then why not?

There are so many smart people in transportation research and development. They've developed solar energy harvesting concrete for heaven's sake. But when will we see such improvements? Great work. Back when I worked on DFing, ESPRIT was my favorite estimation algorithm. If I remember right, it was slightly less accurate but much more efficient than MUSIC.

China's in a great position to do this. Not many other countries could withstand the consequences. Westerners plan for 5-10 years ahead. China plans for 1-2 generations ahead.

And prepare for them to give you strange faces! I had a manager look at my estimate and then told me to multiply it by 3, which I thought was ludicrous. Turned out to be accurate.
