I don't put cases (or even screen protectors) on mine either (since 2015). I've dropped it many times, obviously, but I've only ever had the edges of the phone get the slightest nicks - which I prefer to having a case on it.

My wife and I are on the pixel 3 still as well. I hate the size of the 8, but that camera sure looks real nice...

Her pixel 3 is also starting to shutdown randomly which is concerning since our last phones were the bootlooping nexus 5x.

I guess technically it’s not false advertising since the advertised car we wanted “sold”.

I worked at a car dealership and they absolutely lied about this stuff. They would say that the law lets them do it as long as it was sold within 24 hours, but they also kept advertising cars that had been sold weeks ago. Every time someone came in and asked they'd give the "Sorry it was sold within the past 24 hours" lie.

I've worked with tens of developers over 8 years and I've seen this many times.

I don't think they're 'actively trying to harm projects', but the person you're responding to never implied that in any way.

After you do a search there's a 'tools' button. Clicking it gives you a dropdown with the option to change from 'all results' to 'verbatim'. There's also the 'Advanced Search' https://www.google.com/advanced_search where even if you enter a word in quotes in the 'this exact word or phrase' box you still get results without your query.

I don't have an example query, but it happens all the time. I put a query in quotes and google gives results that neither have the quote in the page blurb on google nor on the destination page.

High/low crush is different than high/low options. He's talking about things like Street Fighter's Rose s.HK going over attacks that hit low or sliding attacks that duck under attacks that hit high.

Also people cannot SRK/DP on reaction to all attacks or the game would be completely broken so saying '2nd to attack wins' is a bit odd since it's only in the situation where both players use an invincible move.
