It's worth noting that emergent communities like this devolve into fascism pretty quickly (as more forums, reddit, & fb groups have proven) so you might want to think about this / bring in someone who is an expert on community management.

How is this not solved by giving the fixed width elements margin-left & -right auto?

- Dead simple for content authors. - Almost every need has already been solved by the community so I rarely need to add any important code to the stack. - It has room to grow from a the very basic marketing site it starts as into whatever direction might be needed long term. - It's relatively simple DB setup allows for me (using my typical patterns) to export the data should I need to migrate to a different CMS later without any real pain points.

Would be poetic justice except: this is really just companies weaseling out of even THIS low level of social responsibility.

This is correct.

Lots & LOTS of reading. LOTS of writing (look up journaling CBT). Distancing myself form people who actively engage in those behaviors & enable me to do so. Distance myself from social media (I haven't posted a selfie or personal life update in six months).

Focus on people close to you that engage you on an intellectually or emotionally inspiring way. Find projects that bring you joy (or at least pass the time fairly well).

Make jokes about yourself, to yourself. Take moments to pause & internally acknowledge when you feel you've done something you regret. Force yourself to apologize if it is necessary (but be wary that you may be trying to apologize to facilitate someone else coddling you: ask yourself if your apologizing improves THEIR life, not if it will assuage your guilt).
