I don't seek money, have a job, or got married, or other social markers of success, to be happy.

I did it to thrive in society; it increases my and my family's chances of survival.

I'd be happier by myself, with enough money to live with, and without a job. Happiness is not the most important thing in my life.

Decentralization makes it harder to stop political or state actors from manipulating social media, anonymously and invisibly. It makes it harder to stop the propagation of toxic and inflammatory messages.

I don't say "impossible" because the state can shut down the Internet or illegalize decentralized software.

If he could have gone to a "non-authorized" third-party for support, like with a PC, then his blog post wouldn't exist, because he would have gone elsewhere, instead of airing his grievances online and hoping Apple will listen and change.

Misleading claim: any external DNS server is not private. Your requests are directed to a third-party. I suspect data-mining you is how they pay their server bills.

The correct technical solution for privacy is running your own DNS server locally.
