What I want to know is who's paying all these people to stand around and socialize while they're on the clock am I paying for that as a customer because fuck that what company is this. I'll take my business to someone who has employees who are efficient and keep my cost low.
I have lived around the Great lakes all my life and I see the research of natural History of these Great lakes as an indicator of long-term climate. That climate ranges quite widely. Right now we think that within the last 14,000 year time period the lakes are about the lowest average they usually get rn. They have before fluctuated about 200 ft in several hundred years. But they've been much much lower before. The average is about 100 ft higher. Just think of the millions of people that's going to affect when the lakes go back to normal. They're already starting to show signs of coming up massive amounts of flooding on both sides.
Remember the housing market boom right before the bubble popped they propped it up with stimulus money everybody was like oh wow this is great houses are such a low price...... You're basically talking about the same thing there
30 years ago I realized the same thing and stop being a slave too but the federal government is making it increasingly harder and harder to own your own business every time I turn around some entity with an alphabet name once a huge portion of money like the EPA
That's because climate change is still not proven after 30 years every model every prediction is almost ultimately turned up to be wrong or reversed yes the Earth is changing natural History shows us that it does that very rapidly whether or not we caused it or not is still the issue. I look at it this way smog is climate change it changes an entire city climate it also kills people with bad lungs but you're not going to get people to stop making it.
I'll never really understand why people latch onto a figure and think that they have all the best ideas and inside info they're not that special go get the inside info yourself
Sort of makes me think that there's a they live situation where the government's being controlled and they're hoping the population catches on but they can't say a thing
Shade tree mechanic here, most my cars are 20 YO old. I just got a "new" car a 12 yo Twin turbo AWD BMW. I have to say the amount of "lifetime fluid" stickers on it is way to damn high. it needed all these lifetime fluids changed at 40k intervals but BMW made it that way so they wouldn't have to maintain all the fluids. NOW ME AND THE MAD SCIENTIST GOT TO PULL APART TORQUE CONVERTER BECAUSE IT WAS THE FIRST ONE EVER IN HISTORY TO INCLUDE A CLUTCH PACK.
I feel like the Democratic party has constantly pushed back and fought against any type of new identification forms. No identification to get benefits no identification to vote
So if they can't handle my tax money that I worked really really hard for why would I trust them to count votes in an election?
Most whales esophagus are only the size of their prey and they all eat really small stuff largest esophagus of a whale size of a grapefruit. Jonah was supposably swallowed by a big fish that's what it says "fish"
Yeah but everyone thinks that lions are badass but they fail like 77% of their hunts so they're more like huge failures.
Yes in India gets coal super cheap and they use a ton of it to make their electric. All these electric cars are just coal cars, all these electric trains are just coal trains
Every generation there's a story like this you live long enough and you just roll your eyes when you see the same issues crop up like every 20 years but nothing ever happens
That's because journalists have zero morals now and nobody holds them accountable most of the graphene stories I read are complete bullshit
Domesticated cats have completely eradicated several United States bird species nobody called for eradication of cats
I would like to interject that Earth changes very very rapidly and humans never remember what it was like just 20 years ago. Most of the natural forests in the United States have been a ravished and destroyed. Yet people are still worried about the environment but not concerned about tearing down a quarter acre of the forest for their house. The snowflake never feels responsible for the avalanche. My grandpa told me stories of squirrels that could go from Cincinnati to Apalachicola on the tops of chestnut trees and never touch the ground, now you'll never find one chestnut tree the whole way.
I do and when I go somewhere else I feel like a caveman using TP
And I believe that humans are so closed off from reality and don't care about others so much the point that they don't realize how little of a rate that is compared to everything else. We got people claiming they almost died from covid. Then testing negative realizing that they just got normal flu, holy crap normal flu is so bad it can make you lose weight? Yes idiot.
I just spent about 3 months non-stop hospital visits for the past year and a half for open reduction internal fixation multiple times. The hospital was empty like literally the lights are out in this hallway I have to find the light switch and turn it on so that I can go down to the X-ray room. This is a city of 300,000 with an empty hospital. Yet they claim it's full when all 35 covid beds are taken. I walked all around the hospital hoax fake are the first words that came to my mind.
A lot of that information will be lost it costs a lot of money to store data on the internet nowadays when nobody's paying the bill it just gets lost.
We bought an old tobacco farm in South Indiana almost every building it has these weird metal rings. historians said they were for tying up cattle and horses. But we found out recently that they were actually for farming equipment they would tether steam engines to ropes and then use these steel rings attached to buildings and trees to pull plows around with the steam engines.
Or the chargers or situated in the worst possible location way away from everything nearest charging station to where I live is in the bottom of a garage building connected to a mall that's dead and only open for a few hours a day what do you supposed to do chill out in the basement garage while your car charges?
Dude I just drove 985 miles in 10 hours 3 stops and that's the American way no stopping fill up as little as possible as soon as you can do that sure I might consider one. Never saw one charging station the whole trip
Can't wait till everyone comes home from work and tries to plug in all of their batteries at the same time that's really going to work out well
Farming corporations do it constantly they're by far the biggest wasters of water but they run ad campaigns telling you to turn the faucet off when you're brushing your teeth. The dump so much NPK in the fields now that they're destroying our waterways then they claim it's not farming corporation practices it's all the sewer from the people
Sounds like that one time the gold rush in the United States killed like 100 species and then drained all of the swamp in California which most California was just to feed the gold rushers you know like completely destroy and change the native surroundings of an entire humongous State just so you can have a little bit of gold and sell some shovels. And then 100 years later wonder why there's a massive environmental problems like water shortages
List of things Xerox majorly screwed up; not selling the PC, the mouse, the PDF. What else did those Woody headed executives let slip through their fingers?
In contrast because everybody's hold up and probably not in the best physical condition some of my friends who did get real flu we're amazed that it's strength had them laying on their asses not being able to do anything and they lost weight almost like covid but a lot worse
I have to say I just had this exact situation and conversation come up while visiting family in the south. They all complained about construction workers and not being able to find one that's competent they all think they're the best and they all do very very bad work. That's only in the South they have homes up north and they don't have that problem at all they're constantly trying to get their contractors to travel South to work for them. even people who were born and raised in Florida that were involved in this conversation agreed 100%.
I personally know that the hospitals are empty no covid-19 patients I was there for many surgerys pass few years in and out weeks staying over night. The news claims it's full of virus patients I walked down that wing to find the lights off and no one around.
