I bought Alex's "Let's Go Further" book a while back, I really should spend some time with it.

I want to learn Go.

It's a push to using their cloud services I suppose. I have had to pay for the icloud for a while now because my phone would fill up so quickly.

I am eyeing a few tutorials on building my own cloud.

That’s amazing.

If you cannot control what’s being input, then you need to check what the LLM is returning.

Either that or put it in a sandbox

The Roblox ones are a bit of a minefield too.

I age restrict, block chat with everyone and monitor friend requests weekly. They are not allowed to play in their rooms.

Education is the biggest thing. They come to me if someone asks to be their friend. They don’t accept gifts from strangers and I explain that it’s the same as real world.

It’s a constant process that is always changing. Same as any other parenting job I suppose

All these come from the white house press directly which has painted them in a glowing light but it remains to be seen if they are actually good things. The administration is crooked. Nothing they do can be trusted. Especially when they attack science and reduce funding for critical programs

Part of my decided to get the M3 MacBook Pro because I wouldn't be able to game on it so much - I needed something reliable for a Cybersecurity Masters and I knew if I got a powerful windows laptop I would be tempted to play games .

My is a lovely machine for the most part but overheats a lot when gaming, so much so that it worries me. So I don't bother.

Great read. I'm sure I have some undiagnosed ADHD and I suffer from getting stuck into to work or executive dysfunction...the tactile effect of pulling the receipt paper down and chucking it in the bin must feel very satisfying.

Kinda like those chefs working the plating section. Order up!

I don't mind "vibe coding" once there is no "vibe push-to-production".

I understand it as playing around, POC, MVP stuff. Which lots of people were doing before AI came around.

If people are "vibe coding" for mission critical applications then that is a problem.
