That's totally wrong. It's not OK to add ratios. It's OK to add populations.

You can't add 1/3 and 1/3 to get 2/6 if the first 1/3 was reduced from 3 of 9 and th second was 1/3. Well, you can, but that only works in the degenerate case where the items you add (actually, average) are equal and there's no point in adding in the first place.

The lesson to learn is that stardom is about branding (marketing/advertisers) and being the boss of workers, putting your name on it to fake authenticity and singular genius in what is a team effort.

In 2002 the inventor of Microsoft Office (Charles Simonyi) took his $billions and left to create a company to replace programming with an Office-like app. In 2017 the company (Intentional) was acquihired back into MS after failing to generate a profit or popular product.

Also, scammers using VOIP (plus extremely sensitive ADA rules around treating disabled people nicely and never doubting people who claimed disability) ruined the deaf-serving text-to-telephone gateway. Fortunately that problem was mostly solved by the Internet mostly killing voice phone.

defyccc is barely this side of Alex Jones with their conspiracy theorizing absurd caricatures:

They invented a theory that CO2 is called a "greenhouse gas" because farmers use CO2 in fertilizer, not because it increases temperature like a greenhouse and then without any source attribute that theory to climate scientists.
