It literally says the following about removing the battery (emphasis mine)

Complain about how hard it is to get the glass off, fine, but that’s got zilch to do with the EU law
I wasn't commenting on EU law, but how "Screws are how in fact one accesses the battery in an iPhone" is very misleading.
A 1-2 hour process which includes heating to soften glue, high potential of damaging internal components, or high potential of cracking some piece of glass is not "Screws are how in fact one accesses the battery in an iPhone."

Not here in the US. The carriers wanted to discontinue 3G for years. They really only started it in earnest in 2018. It took them about 3 years longer from the first dates given to finally kill 3G. It sound to me as if 3G phones didn't bite the dust as fast as carriers assumed or customers refused to upgrade at the rate they expected.
A customer who cancels isn't really a customer anymore so it follows that they wouldn't pay too much attention to their experiences.

I mean Bing had like a whole three weeks to slap this together after OpenAI first demoed it's ability to make things up.
How do you know that's when they first learned about it? Perhaps the Bing team had access to it for weeks prior to the demo.
