Don't take my word for it, but to me it looks like yet another abstraction layer.

And in practice people don't change their cloud providers that often(yes it happens, but USUALLY not).

And again, in practice you should learn this layer and layer from real provider and know how things are mapped from one to another one. Because, again, in practice you will support real k8s cluster or something like that, and you'll need to support and solve problems THERE, but applying fixes in a different domain language HERE.

I think we all been fooled by the sentence: "It's yet another automation, it's like horses were replaced by cars". It is not. Industrialization and automation is about manual labor. LLM/AI is about outsourcing thinking. And while I'll give two thumbs up for using ML(there is not 'I' in 'AI') as a technology for some tasks, outsourcing thinking is an evolutionary dead-end.

"Agile" works, but "Agile" is not a set of rules to follow. "Agile" is a chain of conscious decisions made by a team.

"We have sprints" is not "Agile". Neither "we use Jira", nor "we have retros".

Term "Agile" has been stolen from us, butchered and it's dead body had been turned to scarecrow. And now all those "agile couches", "agile offices", "certified scrum masters" are dancing around it's corpse.

But there are some of us, who worked in truly agile team, we witnessed it in it's glory. We remember when it was alive.

If you worship Cargo Cult, you aren't doing "Agile" despite the name. Period.
