this is straight up gossip and my IQ diminished by 20 points just by clicking on that website

Buy why are you redesigning the site? It looks fine as it is. Let me guess some designer told you to redesign it in order to justify his paycheck.

You mean like the low population of medieval Europe that didn't live within its tree-cutting means and destroyed nearly all its forests?

What?

Forests get destroyed because of stupidity, not because of population numbers.

And I agree with OP, I don't see what's the big deal about lack of new people. If anything I think it's a good thing.

web development is such a retarded mess

its really amazing how much effort is spent on building the same CRUD apps over and over again

Why shouldn't the university offer some form of protection? Even if it's the form of blocking the app?

The police clearly don't give a shit. Someone has to do something. What are universities doing with all that money they get from tuition?

Really? Calling a professor by their first name is a faux pas in academia? Here in Brazil if you call a professor by "Mr. Last Name" they'll think you're a weirdo.

And you know what I think? Why does any random loser get to write an article in the nytimes these days? Back in the good old days it used to be only interesting stuff got written in there. Now I have to waste my time digging through the trash to find an interesting article once a month.

Nobody knew school could be such torture. NOBODY! This discovery was made in the year of 2014 by Alexis Wiggins.

I know I'm bitter but it's only because I was a bottom 20% student in high school and I'm now a top 10% student in college.

It demonstrates a very high level of social awareness and emotional intelligence.

Any reasonably average human being should have these skills as an adult. If they don't it's because something went wrong at some point, or they are on the spectrum or something like that.

Social anxiety is not a thing that you either have or you don't. Everyone has social anxiety to varying degrees. To claim that people with social anxiety don't live as full or enjoyable lives as everyone else is just plain wrong. What is a "full and enjoyable life"? Is it having an average amount of social anxiety? But then you don't get to do all the cool shit that the people with very minimal social anxiety do. Is it having minimal social anxiety? But then you might end up doing things that you'll regret later i.e. having your silly picture/video go viral and then you might even end up developing social anxiety as a result of the entire world/country/city knowing your embarassing moment.

So... what's going on? are they shutting it down? if so, why don't they just say, "we're shutting it down". Why make me read 6 shitty paragraphs and in the end I don't know what the fuck I'm reading?

good fucking riddance

Leapforce's exam is not hard to pass at all. At least it wasn't when I worked for them back in 2010 as an 18 year old with English as a second language.

Stop posting dude. Just stop.

there's people living through the horror of wars,

You serious? That's the "there's children starving in africa" argument.

Daily interaction with people who are clearly in very different socioeconomic circles than you is so godamn exhausting. I studied with a bunch of rich kids when I was a child and I still have self-esteem problems 20 years later.

Harvard is overrated anyway. You're not going to get a better education, you're just going to be around a lot of rich people.

No, you just lack breadth in your understanding of life. People have different personalities, Bukowski clearly had a personality that caused him to despise the 9-5 work environment. He grww up with people telling him if he didn't work 9-5 he would be a dirty bum hippie. That explains his hatred for the 9-5.

What defines being "good at sales"? Is it selling more things, or is it making your customers happy? It seems that in today's corporate world being good at sales means you sell lots of things, regardless of whether your customers are happy or not.
