I would say to get an android phone and flash Graphene OS (Pixel phones) on it.
I've recently developed a money manager application for Android. I haven't uploaded it to Github yet. The purpose of this project was to get back into android development and have an app that doesn't sell your data. Also, the best thing about making your own app is that you can add any feature you want and make it work just how you like.
Presently, I'm working on an app to selectively enable/disable silent profile for contacts. It involves leveraging Android's contact groups to establish user profiles. When you activate a profile, silent mode will be activated for contacts not in it.
I feel the same. I am interested in the product, but I want to know how much it would cost. Without knowing at least the range of the prices, I find it unproductive to contact the sales representative, since the price could end up way beyond what I can afford.
So why do you think this hasn't happened in android yet?
In that analogy, who provides the antivirus? Can you only use antivirus from certain vendors? Does the company providing antivirus have motives(eg:-selling ads) other than securing your computer?
I grew up in India, and the majority of the population doesn't have access to the latest hardware. If websites starts implementing these changes, a lot of these people would be cut off from the internet. Most of these people belong to marginalized communities. My country has a history of discriminating people based on their castes, and any progress we have made in this aspect would be destroyed by this change by further limiting the online resources available for people from these communities. This is outrageous.

The same thing happened to me, but with my Yahoo account. It was my first email ID, something that I made when I was 11 years old. The memories of my first emails, when my friends and I were discovering the internet in the mid 2000s, were completely wiped out.
I recently gave Kagi a try after using DDG, and signed up for their $10/month plan. However, I found myself running out of searches within the first 20 days, which left me feeling hesitant about making any additional searches due to the extra cost. While I do want to support Kagi's success, I personally found the cost of $10-15 per month for search to be a bit steep. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations on how cheap search should be, but for now, I'm not sure if the cost is worth it for me.
