Bigger taller and heavier vehicles are safer in collision with smaller cars. In the society where drunk, stupid and agressive people are allowed to drive (which is clearly the case in the UK), it’s entirely logical to buy an SUV, as long as you’re concerned about the safety of your family

You’re unlikely to encounter any issues with Node in a small project. It’s possible though that you’ll need some module that is not working with Deno.

Indeed if they would picture the actual multistorey blocks they are planning to build the article would not look that pretty

Every time I see ZeroMQ being placed alongside RabbitMQ or Kafka as an example of a message queue system, it makes me wonder if the person who wrote that really knows what they are talking about. If they would rtfm they’d understand that ZeroMQ is more of a transport feature, that doesn’t really intersect with other mentioned projects in its features.

I absolutely did look at the data and you could, as well. The issue with NCAP and similar ratings is that their only method is to collide a vehicle with infinitely massive and rigid structure. In reality, it’s more nuanced. While a semi might not look good in the NCAP chart, it’s basically invincible in the case of actual crash involving other vehicles smaller than itself. If you’re careful enough to not go off the road or hit concrete barriers, the larger vehicle will provide more safety to the occupants.

I am not an entusiast, the only thing I care about is my kids safety, hence a large SUV. When you will somehow remove drunks and low-IQ maniacs from roads, you can come and ask me to buy a smaller vehicle. Until then, please say for yourself and don’t attack my rights to safer roads

Not only Russia, but the big part of ex-USSR as well. Typical device will feature an encrypted radio channel, protected from repeat and retranslation attacks. It will be hidden inside the car and use several immobilisation techniques. When an unauthorised engine start is detected it will spam the bus with signals to desync the connected devices and shut down the injection. Thieves can defeat that by bringing multiple pre-wired ECU and attaching them to the engine, transmission etc of the car getting stolen. As a counter measure the data connectors to these units are often rewired so that the unadulterated wiring won’t work. Then there will be a relay to break power to the fuel pump. This of course is defeated by hot-wiring the motor. Also mechanical locks are installed, the motor hood is reinforced etc. In isolation each of these measureas are rather easy to work around technically, but for the thief it’s usually easier to simply find an unprotected vehicle
